A guy doesn't go from high 90's heat occasionally hitting 100 to barely breaking 92 for one reason or another. Whether it be injury, him letting up or just not having it anymore, he can not do his job. He was hired for one reason and one reason only...Throw the heater past the f***ing opposite team. I know he has always been erratic but not with this weak of stuff. Something needs to be done about him. I really hope it is just him letting up like was said above and not an injury. If he is just being a wimp then maybe they can get him turned around. Otherwise we are all in a world of s*** since he can't do his job. Where is Foulke when you need him?

I don't want to sound like everyone else here but when I saw Koch come in I knew that he would blow the game. I just had that feeling. Epsecially after the walk and the base hit. I was wondering where the f*** Gordon was. Man, he really has to go. Me and my friend ranted on the phone for about 15 minutes about how bad he is. Just to update on Loaiza's stats. 11-2, 1.99 ERA(no earned today), 108 IP, 84 hits, 90 K's, 26 walks and only 6 HR's. If he doesn't start it would be pretty sucky. He has been tearing it up all season. I think that Sciosicia will be fair and unbiased about it. Also, even if only for a brief moment, it was nice to see Harold Reynolds say that E Lo should start the AS game. Hopefully he does.

He wasn't even that bad against the Jay's either. I don't see why Roman is all over the guys nuts after having a rough stretch. The guy is human and makes mistakes. I agree that if we had a cf that could actually run and catch he would have given up 3 most likely and Roman would be saying "Mark is back!!!". The guy will be fine and back to form soon. It is like the guy has a bad day and you want to send him to the gas chamber. Give me a break. Not even Cy Young pitched great every time out.

Potential means nothing if he can not produce at the major league level. I know everyone likes to use the "He is only 23" excuse but, at some point he won't be 23 and probably still will not be doing what we like. I would be interested int his deal but I dunno. Our pitching is already less than desireable and losing Garland wouldn't make it any better. Especially after the way Mark pitched tonight.
