Fall of '08 television season thread
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 08:28 AM) Ah gotcha, so he can just teach his brain to recreate the other's powers. Thats crazy. I believe that is his original "power". Anyways, really interested to see how this season plays out with him and where they go with Sylar and Peter.

Moving into the city soon
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) SO you basically commute north on 90 so I would recommend a neighborhood up near that part of the highway so you dont have to deal with as much 94 as people who live closer to the city. My recommendation up there would be somewhere around Lincoln Square. Its an old German part of town which is now just really cleaning up and becoming a great place for all ages to live. its still somewhat affordable and has a ton of parks/recreation areas as well as cool restaurants and things to do. Its also right by the blue line/brown line and the highway. Muchas gracias Rock. Definitely heard some good things about Lincoln Square from a friend. I'm really going to have to check that out. P.S. How you enjoying the west loop area?

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 12:37 PM) I'll one up you. Now it looks like Kane is going to be tried out a Center. Now this is becoming a very serious problem. The cap issues were the primary reason Lang was traded. How is this being addressed? Playing someone out of position so 5 million dollars can sit on the bench every night. I still have a feeling Khabi will be gone one way or another before the season begins.

Any suggestions for happening areas close to the Kennedy so I can drive to work fairly easily? I work in Schaumburg btw.

Moving into the city soon
Funny, I'm in a similar situation as you alma. 2 friends and I are looking for a place in the city to rent for around 15-1600 a month with some parking spaces. I'm mainly browsing the wicker park area as well as lakeview. I'd suggest checking out like craigslist, chicagoreader.com, apartmentpeople.com Also, if anyone knows of a decent place in the areas I listed let me know /threadjack

QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 03:28 PM) My sister was watching it with me. She goes, "HOOTCHIE ALERT!" when she saw Maya in her easy-to-remove outfit. I knew it was something...

QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 02:10 PM) With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility Mohinder. Seriously, those two episodes were crazy. The little twist at the end with Sylar was interesting as well. Interested to see how the play that off. Is it me or is Maya a lot better looking this year than last? Anyways, very pumped for this season. Looks like they are going to have a lot more action this year.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) Now THAT's a big loss. Despite our terrible start, the NFC North is wide open... That is terrible news. I'm assuming Williams or Blackmon would replace him if so. They both have the upside to be good. Howver, I don't think either is ready for full time duty. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Twinkies on the verge of losing again today. They are down 7-0 to the Rays in the 8th. Kazmir pitched well for TB going 6 and striking out 5.

QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 10:53 AM) I have such a hard time sometimes with watching my movies from Netflix.I just let them sit on my TV stand for like two weeks and finally get fed up and return them without even watching them. I do the same thing. I've had Hostel 2 sitting on my desk for over a week now unopened.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:17 PM) I'm sure this has been debated like hell in here, but Playstation 3, Xbox, ??? (I don't feel like reading 95 pages). I do like the Blu-Ray in the PS3. And I assume Xbox you can connect to the internet as well? I have both and definitely play my Xbox more. Just seems like a better online community to me.
