have you seen the QB depth in next years draft? He's a hint...it sucks ass. The year after that should be better but a long way off and the Bears wouldn't be in any position to draft one of the top QBs anyway. Plan B is a moot point. Like I said earlier...the only other think I would have done is snatched up Luke Falk when the Titans cut him.

They're currently have a little over 6M cap room and next year you'll have guys come off like Sims (6M) White (5M) possibly Acho (3ishM). What Bears are going to have to be concerned about are their OTs. Lenos contract was back loaded so his cap hit will be more and Massie is an UFA next year. Will they bring him back or slide Long out to RT finally?

Would have been nice to have him...but never really had a good feeling about his recruitment. Illini really need to land one of the bigs moreso than anything. One of Tshiebwe, Cockburn, Timme or Jitoboh. Tshiebwe is a pipedream IMO...but would be ideal. Cockburn would be fantastic...as would Timme.

if you go back and watch the condensed version of this game on NFL...you'll see that Rosen probably should have had close to another 100 yards in his stat line if it hadn't been for all the drops...just blatant DROPS Cards WRs had...including one on Fitzgerald. Rosen is a pretty smart guy too...and I think his teammates respond to him pretty well.

I saw that when they were carting him off and was like wtf?!? lol... On the play he was injured....he wasn't even hit. Hard to imagine fracturing you leg on a play like that. Look at the replay if you can...it was very innocent.

Cards aren't a crap team by any means. Crap QB with Bradford...but they've alleviated that. But overall...a solid team with a new coach learning a new system. They have pretty decent personnel. Like I said...you win any game in the NFL on the road...it's a positive.

damn....that was a vintage '85 Bears performance! that was fun. Trubiskly looked incredible. Missed a few...but overall you couldn't ask for more. D was fantastic. They were gifted their final touchdown (Mack got tackled with no call...ridiculous). Toliver held his own. Nichols...real deal. I can't say enough about this O line...and would like to see Daniels out there instead of Kush. Nagy was smart to put 8 up front in protection. Only downer on the day...idiot move by Hicks. Hopefully he doesn't have to sit against Miami.

Be interesting to see how the UDFA rook Toliver responds. He's got that talent...enough so he could have easily been a 1st or 2nd round pick...but he's really going to have to step up today.
