I can't believe Luke Falk didn't go til middle of 6th round. IMO...Patriots were idiots for not taking him when they had the chance. He's the perfect fit for that team/system. Honestly...my second favorite QB in this class.

I like the Iggy pick. The Fitts pick...meh. Dude never is healthy...rather have had Mata'afa. St Brown taken by the Packers...have a feeling he'll haunt the Bears.

I'd be fine with that. But honestly I think I want Mata'afa more than Armstrong (and I like Armstrong a lot). Mata'afa just has that edge to him. He's such an unknown...but tellin ya...the kid can flat out play. He can shoot gaps that you rarely see in a player. Incredible first step and a tough kid. He'll destroy people on STs too. Check out his tapes...he's fun to watch. The "tape junkies" claim he sucks...but I've seen this kid play a ton. He's good. To be honest...I wouldn't be shocked if he followed the Teddy Bruschi path...small DT that moved to LB. I'd be really interested to see what he could do with a move to ILB. Love the kid....

there's still some pretty good edge rush talent available. Can't believe Josh Sweat is still there. Jalyn Holmes. Dorance Armstrong. I'm also a HUGE Hercules Mata'afa fan too. I know they have him listed a DT....but he'll be a situational pass rusher...special teams ace...and the kid can flat out play football. He was by far my favorite player in the PAC to watch. Not in the 4th....but a later round pick.

same with Shaheen last year. I think we'll see plenty of benefits from that pick after everybody pretty much crapped all over it....

Looking at his tape he's actually pretty similar to Jarvis Landry in a lot of ways with better speed.

Bears don't have a 3d round pick this year. So tomorrows 2nd rounder...that's it unless he uses his two 4ths and something else to move up. That said...I'm extremely happy with the Roquan pick. Pretty sure Vic was all over that. They're all crap shoots. Hell...Lance Briggs was a 3rd round pick...so stating 2nd rounders are most likely garbage or merely gunners is inherently wrong. This is a deep draft...so there is some reasoning to trading down. I'm happy with Roquan...but moving down a few spots and picking up two 2nds would have been sweet!!!! Not understanding your rant at all...

I'm going to guess if he wanted to trade up earlier...it was Nelson. If he wanted to trade up into the end of the 1st round I'd guess Will Hernandez. Of course I could be way off...but makes sense (in my mind lol). I'll be thrilled if Hernandez somehow falls to the Bears. He's an animal...and honestly not all that far awful far off from Nelson. But you could be right...could have been Chubb...and then Landry (who I'm not a fan of at all). But I can't see the first two picks being D...that's why I'm guessing Hernandez.

I don't think you take him at 8 tho. He had a nice combine...sure. Physical specimen sure. The small school thing scares me. Very....John Thierryish (RIP John).
