Good God did he crush this ball...it never came back. Went over the grey building out past the scoreboard....lol...geezus. Not sure I've seen a ball hit that far by a college player.

I think most of the "anti-bunters" aren't completely against bunting...but bunting in the 2nd and 3rd inning is fucking ridiculous. Suicide in the 8th inning of a tie game?....bring it all day every day. But very early in a game?...with this staff? pfffft.... That's my 2¢ anyway.

What other injuries has he had? Wasn't his UCL pretty much his first major injury...and this is a follow up/clean up of that? Personally I think the Sox fucked up last year by not just having him have surgery back in the spring instead of waiting until June/July or whenever it was.

You realize he's still pretty young don't you...only 22? Very disappointing. I always had visions of him in RF for this team. I'm not writing him off. If he gets healthy he'll stick with somebody. Sox would be idiots to give up on him at this point.

Vaughn could play LF easily. He's really a pretty decent athlete. I'm just of the mindset of it's between him or Abrams I don't even blink and take Vaughn who's one of the best hitters that's come out in a while. That would give the Sox what MANY people deemed the best hitters to come out of college in their respective years. I'll take that all day every day over a question mark developmental high schooler (see Fathom's comment about developing).
