You'd probably miss more than half. You could look into getting a VPN to hide your location and then just getting MLB.tv, but of course you are adding another subscription cost

Batting Order Options
My generic lineup against most righties and lefties CF - Eaton (L) SS - Alexei RF - Garcia DH - Dunn (L) 1B - Abreu LF - Viciedo 3B - Davidson C - Flowers 2B - Beckham I'm torn over whether I want to flip Dunn and Abreu. The best thing about having Dunn in the middle of this lineup is it takes away the other team's ability to bring in a really tough RH reliever and mow through all those young righties. Another setup I kinda like is Avi batting second w/ Abreu batting third, Dunn fourth, Viciedo, Davidson, Ramirez, Flowers, Beckham. I'm imagining that we get rid of Keppinger but are unable to trade ADA for the purposes of this conjecture. Bench: Konerko - DH, 1B Gillaspie (L) - 3B, 2B, 1B, LF ADA (L) - LF, CF, RF Nieto (S) - C QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 27, 2014 -> 11:48 AM) .280/.350/.481/.831 is not tearing up the minors, especially the PCL. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/l...amp;id=3219ab1a He posted a 117 wRC+, which is league adjusted FWIW. 108 wRC+ in MLB. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 09:04 PM) The left swipe for Google Now is nice, but I can't live without the customization on Nova. I get the transparent status bar and navigation bar with Nova, that's enough for me to not use GEL. Yeah, chances are that I will end up returning to Nova after a while. I'd been using a fairly heavily customized setup on Nova, so switching back to something more vanilla is nice. I'll probably get bored of that soon enough and come back to Nova or use one of my custom ROM's Sense themes

If you know you'll have pitching depth to trade from a year from now, why sign a guy? Just have your pitching depth and your money and there is no need for trades

To me, the main thing Wong has (other than LH bat, which is important) is not so much talent as it is track record. Semien's never been bad, but he's only spent a few months on the legitimate prospect radar. Too much uncertainty.

Bieber got a DUI
Duke, you now simultaneously really, really don't trust your fellow man to the extent that implementing your worldview makes you more likely to die while also trusting your fellow man enough that implementing your worldview will make you more likely to die -- I point out the "you dying" part because I assume it is the part of most interest to you FWIW, I'm lukewarm to MADD too. I am of the belief that much of what leads to drunk driving is trying to restrict access to alcohol -- most chronic drunk drivers start drinking and driving before they are of legal age to drink. Many start drunk driving in an effort to hide the fact of their drinking. MADD has become as much anti-alcohol in recent years as it has anti-drunk driving, at least on an organizational level. There are certainly evils to beware of when it comes to alcohol, but attempts to restrict access just lead to more problematic consumption habits. Imagine if the majority of the average college student's alcohol consumption wasn't done with the interest in getting drunk as quickly as possible in an interest of remaining out of sight of authorities. The most common denominator of countries like us that are doing much better at preventing DUI death is the fact they have a much healthier overall alcohol culture. They all also crack down on DUIs, but in different ways -- some try to catch everyone with a minor punishment while others have mandatory prison sentences. It is all made easier by healthier general consumption. When I mentioned Australia and UK earlier, they both drink more alcohol per person than USA yet have much less of a problem with drunk driving. Many have speculated that this can be attributed to the relative non-restriction of access to alcohol. If it's always there, you won't go crazy to get it

The environment thread
Went to a lecture from a climatologist yesterday. She was showing us projections showing that North Africa, Southern Europe, and the Middle East will be facing huge decreases in precipitation in the next 50 years. Most of the world will be getting wetter, but of course those places...of course not.
