Yeah, shopping for headphones is tough. I know Beats are overrated and there is some big markup based on name. Nonetheless, these are by far the best in-package headphones I've ever received. They kill the Apple ones I often suffered through when I didn't feel like spending money on headphones. These are good enough that I'm actually choosing to wear them around the house to enjoy my Google Play Music All Access.

I'm feeling for the Royals fans. It really looked like the rebuilding process was nearly over and it looked like it had pretty much worked, but a lot of those promising players have just not turned out. There is still season left to turn things around and I think their real arrival time was meant to be next season, but they are on the verge of failed rebuild, which is just a nightmare scenario as a fan.

A game in which you could say that Adam Dunn had a good game with a straight face can't be the worst game ever.

I live about 100 yards from a river and our 80 year old house has never had flooding issues. A little luck with elevation, etc. and the house was built by the town's top contractor when it was built. Concrete basement, good gutters, etc. Hope our luck continues.

The best part of a potential Heat Finals loss, beyond my own personal satisfaction, is it should definitively put to rest the GOAT talk. We'll have to wait for the next phenom.

On paper, this looks like a very good draft. Got some top-end talent and more of it than our budget was designed to allow for. Good stuff.

I don't care if Nick Parent gets drafted in the 38th round. It costs us no money and we have to fill out those rookie rosters anyway. One of the positives of having Oney around way back when was they could move him up and down when there were injuries and/or sit him on the bench at whatever level needed an extra body without caring, since he wasn't a real prospect. So imagine that, but the kid isn't a dickhead.

I don't normally keep up with new releases of big bands, etc. but I had a good feeling about this Daft Punk album. I don't know how it is being received by most, but I absolutely adore it. Can't quit listening.

Google Play Music All Access (in dire need of renaming) is pretty cool. Enjoying my trial, will probably stay with them.

HP umpire has been horrible tonight, completely inconsistent.

On the bright side, we're hitting.

I'd have to see a replay to see if he did something wrong, but it's hard for me to mad at a catcher on a play like that. You don't really get to practice that one anywhere. Just our kind of day.
