  1. Jeff Keppinger is the new Dan Johnson
  2. Robin says you can shove that Wise PH up your ass! Kepp the BB MASTER
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:39 PM) No, what it say? How Close Jeff Keppinger Has Come LA ANGELS BASEBALL
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:40 PM) Didn't he have a clause in his contract he had to get promoted to the majors in his first year? Yeah. Didn't work out Sale-style for him, though. Back to the minors for 3 years
  5. Viciedo finally learning that when you're this dangerous, you don't have to have a good eye to be able to take walks.
  6. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:38 PM) Gillaspie s confidence after working was awesome. Finally something to show he is not some weird ass mouthbreather. Apparently when he first broke into pro ball, he had some issues with being a hotshot in the clubhouse
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:38 PM) And then they'll walk Kepp Now THAT would be something. Did you catch FanGraphs breaking down all of Kepp's 3-ball counts?
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:37 PM) They should just do the insane here and intentionally advance the runners so they get the free out in Kepp. Might just do that
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:36 PM) Seems like it would have to be Konerko's call We dealt with this BS last year with Morel
  10. I'd like to point out that Conor Gillaspie just pimped a walk
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:35 PM) I feel like it would be Wise in CF, ADA in LF and Tank at DH Don't be so Robin-y
  12. It's a tough call whether you'd pitch around Conor to get to right handed Tank or not
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:32 PM) He is kinda swinging like his back is bothering him, as he's not turning on anything. I wrote about this in an upcoming article about hot/cold Sox minor leaguers, but I have to think Phegley could get serious consideration as an injury fill-in for PK. Could split defensive reps between DH and C with T-Flow
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:31 PM) Just come out and say you want Kepp dead already Hawk. Kepp needs to suck so as not to take playing time from his beloved Beckham
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:31 PM) Write this day down as a time when we agreed! With that said, good luck tomorrow!! So much for me getting sleep, right? I'll be in a medically induced nap for long enough anyway!
  16. Paulie is absolutely scuffling. In Manto I trust.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:29 PM) The replay showed him looking at the first base ump on the appeal Yeah, he has no excuses with the way it ended up unfolding
  18. If he can adjust to the situation and make contact when he needs to, he'll be killer in RISP situations like that with no shift
  19. This is a serious question -- has Dunn ever had consecutive multi-hit games as a White Sox?
  20. My interpretation of Viciedo's play: -I would never have expected him to catch it, I couldn't believe he got there. -I would have expected ADA/Wise to catch that almost every time
  21. That was a case of the 2-2 pitch being a reasonable one to swing at, it was a great pitch, but he shouldn't have had two strikes because the others he swung at weren't close.
  22. I'll take it! Clutch pleaseeee
  23. Hawk sounded dejected when he said Keppinger was up
  24. QUOTE (MAX @ May 16, 2013 -> 10:31 PM)
  25. I won't complain about the K rate until the HR rate drops and his current hot streak ends
