  1. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 02:44 PM) All has to do with the players and front office. The good players have gotten old. Cutler has never had a chance because he's never had an O-Line and it has gotten progressively worse. People wanted to blame Martz, but you can't make Lemonade when all you have is s***. The defense is old and ineffective - that's not on Lovie. It's on the front office or Marinelli moreso. I mean, you guys want to praise Marinelli when the defense got good again, but didn't want to give Lovie the credit. Now you're back to blaming him for it getting old. ST has regressed - Again another FO thing. If the Bears fire Lovie, I guarantee some team will snatch him up right away. Hopefully it's my Cowboys. The defense hasn't been bad. Not today and not this season.
  2. This has been a horribly officiated game. We have benefited from one call, the illegal contact on Jennings on that Jeffrey play. That netted us 5 whole yards.
  3. Why did we throw to Forte? Our playcalling is just baffling. If you're going to call a stupid play, at least do it on time.
  4. Our offensive coordinators are f***ing ridiculous. Let's just let Jay call the plays.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 02:32 PM) That was awful by GB Those pricks are unbelievably arrogant, they deserve that
  6. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) Really ok Jakey I post in all the same game threads as you. I've never seen you say anything positive. Try it -- don't be a regular Chicago fan, actually acknowledge that not all things boil down to "player/coach/team X sucks"
  7. We never had a chance once they called that BS pass interference.
  8. It's unbelievable how in the tank these refs are
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 02:25 PM) Bears have not beat a real good team all year even If they luck out in wildcard race, they are 1 and done. According to you, no Chicago team has ever had a good team or player.
  10. Some brilliant holding by the GB OL to keep that play alive.
  11. Glad they gave Rodgers two extra yards on that spot.
  12. I think the team has an extreme sense of urgency, it's the thing that always burns us IMO.
  13. The DB totally play-acted that into a call. There was equal pushing from both, which was minimal. The placement of Jeffery's hands with the acting of the DB is why it looked bad in real time.
  14. That looked bad, but it shouldn't have been called
  15. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 02:01 PM) I've found conventional wisdom here on Soxtalk to be wrong quite often. Remember, KW was going to be GM this year and beyond without question according to conventional wisdom on here. Yeah, we were too conservative -- he got promoted
  16. Lovie's sin has been never finding a good offensive assistant -- plus never having a well-rounded group on offense. I have a feeling that if we lose Lovie, we'll end up with a bad defense AND a bad offense.
  17. Another receiver doesn't know what's going on.
