QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 20, 2012 -> 02:15 PM) Wife: What does he mean he just missed that one? That barely went past the infield. LOL My GF just doesn't understand how you could throw different kinds of pitches lol

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 20, 2012 -> 02:03 PM) Cy Maholm on the mound. He's pitching a pretty great game, but his pitch count has to be getting up there. Seems like he's 2-2, 3-2 on everybody

QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 20, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) Ha, Peavy is trying to hit the low 90s on his pickoffs. Peavy does everything high effort I'm sure he's a delicate lover

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) Just think how the Angels will feel someday with Albert as well. Given the level of hitter (in the conversation for best ever), type of hitter (power, no speed), and position (1B/DH) -- much more logical risk

It was one thing to pay Soriano a lot of money when they did, but it's another thing to sign him through age 38

Sox @ Cubs 5/20 game thread 1:20 first pitch
Soriano still scares me, honestly

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2012 -> 01:42 PM) Good points. Watching Maholm, thank God Mark is in the National League and not the AL Central. Can you imagine how well Buehrle would do against our free swingers? It's funny how this guy is always available in fantasy baseball (Maholm) yet on TV looks effective. Q: To those of you who have been to Wrigley lately. Are the seats as cramped as they look? Is it hard to get in and out of rows or the same as any stadium? My dad tells me that any decent sized man is going to be uncomfortable in those seats

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 20, 2012 -> 01:33 PM) What a major fail by Peavy. Dejesus should be on first with a bruise on his back. PK14, Never Forget

QUOTE (Cali @ May 20, 2012 -> 01:28 PM) Ugh... Just watching the first inning. Maholm is THE PROTOTYPE to stifle the White Sox line-up. Gonna be a lot of 88 mph fastball being "blown" by our hitters haha If he pitches that well we sure won't have a chance...he didn't throw a pitch in the vicinity of the middle third in those 3 AB's

Sox @ Cubs 5/20 game thread 1:20 first pitch
Maholm made a bunch of good pitches that inning. We'll see if that keeps up.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2012 -> 12:49 PM) When Morel goes on the DL. When Hudson arrives

2012 White Sox Catch-All thread
I'd say Morel is probably okay to play in case of emergency and they don't want to call someone up just to sit on the bench for a game or two. Obviously this PK business was unforeseen.
