That's excellent, Alex. Hysterical. Actually had me laughing out loud.

Garland should not be coming on for another inning of work. At this rate, the Tigers will be back in the ballgame. Don't worry too much though, gang. This is a potent Tigers' offense and that "juiced" ball is jumping today. -

80 through 4 for Garland. We need a quick inning and have him come back on for the sixth. Then, you can turn the game over to Thornton or Logan without too much concern. -

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 13, 2006 -> 12:33 PM) Yeah! Logan! This is the type of situation where it's "safe" to put him out, no? It's never safe to put a High-A ballplayer out against an AL Central opponent. If he has to eat an inning or two, yes, this is the proper situation. -

Garland has to get through at least five. We could really use six innings out of him. Just get it to Thornton and--gulp--Logan with at least a five run lead. -

I'm convinced Podsednik is just completely lost. He doesn't know which end is up right now. It's not like he's even having some nice at-bats or showing some faint signs of life. -

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Apr 13, 2006 -> 11:37 AM) What happened?! Very awkward attempt on a lazy fly out to right. He rolled over his wrist and it looked like he had his body weight on top of an already awkward landing. WHAT A PLAY BY PODS IN FOUL TERRITORY -

JIM THOME--MERCY! This is just silly. The team is getting awfully fun to watch again. White Sox...Yes. -
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 12, 2006 -> 05:28 PM) Reminds me of this lesbian porno I saw where this one chick starting licking under this other girl's arm, and worked her way down south. I don't know what's more hilarious, the actual altercation--which I was watching unfold live--or this post. That's gold, santo.

...has anyone been using my "Joe and Two" for Mr. Crede and his insufferable count at bat? ...I ask because I still find myself using that despite his play last October.
-
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 12, 2006 -> 06:15 PM) The pitcher selects what jersey the team will wear that day. You know, I've never, ever known that. Wow. Is this something I should have been aware of? I'll be gosh darned.

We expected production out of Thome, but, this is just unbelievable. It's all about to happen, gang. This team is almost firing on all cylinders.

I won't be able to watch the episode in 15 minutes, but, I can never pass up the chance to remind everyone South Park is the best show on television. Those two are so far ahead of their time it's not even funny. They're trailblazers in every sense of the term and I hope--and luckily I think this is the case--their genius can be captured in others as well as it is captured in me. If you understand where these two are coming from, their genius seems surreal at times.

QUOTE(indyman @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) I think it's worth it. You can easily go to whatever inning you to watch without searching. ...and it's so puurrty.
