  1. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) My bad didnt realize they franchised tagged him. Oh, no, nothing to "bad" about. It was a damn good idea, but, like I said, they'll be holding on to him for good.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) P. Rivers for Baj, Borchard, and Ryan Sweeney? You literally had me laughing aloud.
  3. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) Daunte Culpepper Ah, yes, the Golden Knight of UCF.
  4. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Going through QB's team might be willing to trade Philip Rivers is the only good option i can see. No sir. Correct me if I'm wrong, Brees was hit with the franchise tag. He'll be the Chargers QB for the season, then he'll be out the door and we'll start the Rivers era in sunny SD.
  5. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Adrian Mcpherson? Michael Vick at ABSOLUTE best. Even then, do you consider Vick a quarterback? /opens can-o-worms
  6. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) I'll throw a name out for a veteran they could have some interest in; Vinny Testaverde Testaverde remains the ONE AND ONLY successful quarterback out of the state of Florida. I dare someone to prove me wrong.
  7. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) What's the point in wasting a 3rd rounder on him though when you've already got Tatum Bell, Mike Anderson, Quinten Griffin etc. And a good RB is about the only thing they can draft well. Remember all of the shoddy 1st round CB's they've drafted over the years like Willie Middlebrooks? I liked Middlebrooks...thought he was going to be above-average. Should they have drafted Clarett in the third round? No. I'll give ya that.
  8. ...everyone laughs at me when I mention dead-arm. So... At least he's still eating innings; right chums?
  9. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) Once again, another great draft pick by the Denver Broncos. Man they've wasted a lot of them over the past few years. Well, to their credit, history was on their side. Every rookie RB they touch turns to gold. It was unbelievable. If Clarett is their first faliure in 7 years, that ain't too bad.
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) Worked for Cade McNoun, worked for Craig Krenzel... Jesus, I knew this was going to happen with Ben had that dynamite season. You know the last rookie quarterback to have that much success in his 1st year? No one. He was the first. You know the rookie quarterback prior to him to have the most success in his 1st year? Dan Marino. Dan Marino. Ben Rothlisburger. Kyle Orton. "Which one here is not like the other? Which one here just doesn't belong"
  11. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) 3-4 Months: It's Official. A lotta speculation that Orton will be opening day dude. I'll set up a web cam and eat my hat if they start Orton opening day. No. F'ing. Way.
  12. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:25 PM) Leinart Who's to say we won't have the worst record in the NFL?
  13. QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) Orton isn't even gonna play How do you know this? What has the Bears organization shown you to let you know Orton won't play this season. That is, what has the Bears--the team with the most starting QBs for the past five seasons--shown you to make you think they won't start a fourth round rookie?
  14. All I ask is that you don't f*** up Orton. If this kid has a legitimate shot of being an NFL quarterback--which, I think he does--groom him for a year and let's do this the right way. Barring any trade, you start Hutchinson and Kitner for the year and let's groom the youngster the right way. Grossman, you're plane is boarding. I know it's a bit early to comment on something like this, but if I'm the Bears, I'm over the Grossman expierence.
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:18 PM) So does Kurt Kitner make the team now? Absolutely. Ron's boy going in...now, he has a roster spot.
  16. Everyone knew this guy was going to be a complete trainwreck. Buyer beware.
  17. There's just something in the air tonight. This game will result in an L.
  18. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) Any chance that the Sox (the white kind) get another baserunner tonight? After Uribe's squibber? Believe it or not, I'm thinking, no.
  19. Carl means the world to this team down the strech.
  20. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) He means your avatar, and I, too, laugh each and every time I see it. It has to be one of the best avatars around, not to mention one of the single funniest moments of the fourth season. Anyone else want to see Boomer get bounced out in the second inning? 1.2 IP 6ER would look mighty nice tonight. Hey, Gang...I'm not saying...I'm just saying.
  21. Alright...and we're off. I wanted to really get to Wells in the early innings, let's see what happens.
  22. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 09:12 AM) So how do you actually get a bunt down??? Can someone explain the stickwork in detail? I can't do it to save my life. Yeah...what he said. They friggin pull the bat back each and ever g'd time.
