Hypothetical question: Could the White Sox trade AJ right now, or would they have to wait until a certain date since he officially became a free agent?

I finally made it through the Spartacus on my third time through. I took 30 seconds between sets, but I'm OK with that. It really is challenging especially since I haven't worked out my legs much since finishing P90X last June.
