I would say Amare's defense is average at best. He even admitted it when they got eliminated and said that he'll make sure he improves his defensive play. That's what I love about him. He has fire and determination to improve. Next year I expect him to make a couple of steps into being a defensive beast.

Purdue won't be much of anything. Brandon Kirsch is an alright QB, but he isn't like Kyle Orton when healthy. Plus they lost Taylor Stubblefield. I honestly don't see them winning more than 6 games. I think Iowa has a chance to run the table in the Big Ten. They have boatloads of talent and their schedule isn't too tough. If they get past OSU and Michigan, they'll be fine.

And I think the trend is not good. A couple of years ago, I felt like the ratio of seeing a post worth reading to those of zero value was much better. Sorry, that's just the way I feel. WITCH!!!!!!!
