guys, lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Its just the beginning of the year. You are all acting like he will win the Cy Young becuase of his great start. Obviously i hope this is true. But lets wait awhile before we start making a bunch of Jon Garland appreciation threads.

Podsednik is only hitting .254 but his OBP is 100 points higher (.354). That is .41 higher than last year. So his average is low but he has still been a pretty effective leadoff hitter. Iguchi is hitting .333 with a .357 OBP. This guy is looking really good right now. He is 3/4 on stolen bases. The only downside right now is he has 26 hits but only 29 total bases. I dont want him hitting the long ball, but i'd definitely like to see more doubles. Garland is 5-0 with a 1.40 ERA. He has pitched 2 CG SHO in a row. He is not giving up the big inning and he now keeps the ball down and gets lots of ground outs. Konerko is hitting only .218. Feel free to add to this list.

We have almost always scored early this season. I'd say thats the main reason.

When i first saw all this crap i forgot it was April Fools day... I was about to try and get banned.

I am in Milwaukee right now. Going to tonight and tommorow's game.

I had a near death expirience. This ass hole in my neighborhood was arguing with me about something stupid. He punched me in the stomach so i clocked him in the jaw. He kicked me once of twice and i tackled him into a bench. He was just laying there groaning so i left. Two hours later i was riding my bike to my friends house and the dude pushes me off my bike and kicks me in the face. Then he picked up a baseball bat and hit me on the the hand once, breaking 2 of my fingers. You think he would have stopped there but then he hit me on the back of the head and my back a couple times. This was an aluminum bad too. 2 cracked vertabrae and 4 staples in my head. The kid didnt get arrested or anything because we heard his dad beating the s*** out of him and his parents begged us not to press charges. The kid still lives next door to me and has really turned it around.

I'm going to both games. section 120 something row 20 something. Second one i have crappy seats. Gonna be fun though.

Bottom line: ACC is better than the big 10 and Illinois is better than duke. If you dont like it you can kiss my ass right downtown an print it.

Penn State has done nothing to make the big ten better. They are a joke. Sorry to offend any penn state fans but its the truth.
