  1. This picture will explain the "eyebrows" comment...
  2. .275 AVG .350 OBP 15 HR 50 RBI 30 SB
  3. The White Sox were interested in Norihiro Nakamura last month but I guess he has a big ego and thinks he deserves a ton of money. Here's the article... http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...s_cws&fext=.jsp Here is the latest news on Nakamura... http://www.japaneseballplayers.com/en/player.php?id=nakamura I guess Nakamura's Japanese team (Kintetsu Buffaloes) hasn't posted him yet. He needs to be posted, or released from his contract with his Japanese team, before he can sign with a MLB team. And it wouldn't be worth it to a MLB team because the Kintetsu Buffaloes would likely overbid any MLB team for Nakamura's services.
  4. He's a pure righty. Click on my sig for details on Iguchi.
  5. I think it just shows how much confidence everyone had in Willie.
  6. I don't care about homers but I do care about stolen bases from our #2 hitter.
  7. Uhhh, Ozuna can play 2B, SS, and a little CF.
  8. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...ort=MLB&id=5523 Wow, Aurilia isn't great but only a minor league deal?
  9. Willie's career minor and major league stats: http://www.sports-wired.com/profiles/HA/tbc829.asp
  10. Hopefully, Pablo Ozuna has a huge Spring Training so we don't have to see Valdez. Ozuna is tearing it up in the Winter League.
  11. Without Frank: LF Podsednik 2B Iguchi RF Dye 1B Konerko DH Everett CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede SS Uribe With Frank: LF Podsednik 2B Iguchi DH Frank 1B Konerko RF Dye CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede SS Uribe
  12. Rowand wasn't a good #2 hitter because he couldn't bunt. He practiced his bunting alot at the end of last season and this offseason because he was embarrassed by his failure to be able to lay down a bunt.
  13. Agreed. I'd rather see Iguchi batting 2nd with a solid Spring Training. If he doesn't, I'd rather see Rowand batting 2nd again with Iguchi batting 9th.
  14. Yep, Ozzie said that the lineup would probably look like this at Sox Fest... LF Podsednik SS Uribe RF Dye 1B Konerko DH Everett CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede 2B Harris Of course, that was before we signed Iguchi.
  15. Maybe you're right. George Offman just reported that the White Sox think Iguchi will hit in the .300's and will have 15 plus homers. He also said that this may signal a trade of Willie Harris now! So who needs a 2nd baseman? Maybe the whole "great expectations from Willie Harris in 2005" was just to hype up his trade value?
  16. IMHO, I think Willie is staying. The only thing we would trade him for is a backup SS and/or minor league prospect(s). Our roster is pretty much set. If we trade Willie we don't necessarily need to get a SS in return because Larkin and Aurilia are still available and could probably be signed cheaply for 1-year contracts to backup Uribe.
  17. Agreed. Even if Iguchi is batting 9th in the lineup he is still suited well there. He will be like having another leadoff hitter there.
  18. WSCR 670 "The Score" is now reporting that White Sox officials have confirmed the Iguchi signing!!!
  19. Ummm, why not simply "Iguchi"? It works for Ichiro.
  20. Yep, WSCR 670 The Score just reported that "Iguchi has come to an agreement with the White Sox."
  21. I would hope that his shoulder has healed since 4 years ago when he had his shoulder surgery but who knows...
