Ty Wiggington, whom they got in the Kris Benson trade at last season's trade deadline. He has been a massive bust for them so far, hence Mackowiak getting a lot of playing time at 3rd base. Wiggington was the starter going into the season.

That's why we need Mackowiak. He could play 3B or RF versus tough right-handers.

I'd rather have Mackowiak. He can play 3B, 2B, RF, LF, and CF. Polanco can play 2B, 3B, and SS but we already have Willie to backup 2B and Ozuna to backup SS. Also, we need a lefty 3rd baseman, not a righty. We are struggling to hit righties.

Adam Dunn, but that would never happen. He doesn't fit Ozzie's belief in good defense at every position. He would suck in RF anyways. I think the best we can hope for is making a trade for a guy like Mackowiak who can play everywhere.

Ozzie needs to stack the lineup with lefties. Byrd gets rocked by them. I'm hoping we see this lineup...
