  1. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 04:41 PM) Wiggins is already close offensively with a ton more upside. If he takes another step defensively under Thibs, which should be expected, he's already there. Oh so to hit his floor he needs to progress offensively and defensively?
  2. His f-it move is playing Avi in the outfield? Mine would be like, 6 infielders, starting the game with a reliever, etc. What's next, starting Tyler at Shortstop? What a wild man!
  3. Jeff Sessions, so dumb about literally every topic.
  4. I would also deal for Wiggins straight up. You get a younger cheaper player with high upside. On the other hand, he's not an older, whiter, hand picked player from some sort of rural corn town. Tough call for Gar.
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 03:01 PM) He also attributed his attack to the Boston bombing brothers and a different Islamic group in Syria that's fighting ISIL. Compare that to the Paris attacks is what I'm saying, not that domestic self-radicalization isn't a problem. I agree, but they offer glory to young disturbed men in three easy steps (especially in US).
  6. That "franchise" radicalization is a pillar of ISIS though. They use media to basically call out anyone to do these attacks. They are uncoordinated, but that he attributed his attack to them is kind of what makes them a f***ing s***ty group to deal with.
  7. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 02:19 PM) Hopefully they'll influence Clinton's. Her hawkishness is one of my major reservations about her. eta: watch Obama's speech to get the full impact, he was in one of his "legitimately pissed off and disgusted" modes I can't tell if she will be more aggressive still, but I can tell that she puts more emphasis on the Middle East going forward than Obama who tried to move more resources to Asia/Americas.
  8. His Goldberg Foreign Policy article was the most interesting and reassuring thing I've ever read. While he was not able to quiet the media factions that push toward war and action at every step, there is a considerable group now that will be used in future administrations.
  9. This is so embarrassing. Everyone that votes for Trump should be forced to get an identification card and put on a national registry.
  10. Since wild consipiracy theories are completely reasonable to tie to clinton without evidence, if I were a dem operative I would float that paul manaforts ties to Putin allies shows that Trump may have coordinated hacking of dem server to steal oppo research for Trump.
  11. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 11:30 AM) Barring injury, Jimmy Butler is Andrew Wiggins's floor. Absolutely no way the Bulls get him. Wiggins is obviously very talented but Jimmy Butler is not his floor.
  12. Danish has got to be pretty happy going to AAA. Even though he struggled I liked his stuff out of the bullpen. He can more easily hit 91 which sets up his secondary stuff more.
  13. Gendry was also Cold Hands.
  14. Wiggins and a 5 would be unreal. I'd lose my faith in Thibs with front office power if he made that deal.
  15. Luckily there is an endless supply
  16. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 05:50 PM) Sox had 7 of the first 200 picks and 17 of the first 500 picks. Reliever in the 11th round - agree it's great. Reliever in round 1 - the essence of the problem with this front office. But he's a good player. If they can sign all of these guys, it should be a productive draft. See my note in round 1 thread. Hostetler said most of their scouts think he can start. They'll decide next offseason whether to stretch him out
  17. Actually per Eaton it may not have been Gatorade. Let's keep this investigation alive #staywoke
  18. Also that was an incredible amount of Gatorade coming out of that bottle. I was wondering if it was some sort of bb like substance. It was Gatorade.
  19. Just enjoy it folks
  20. Though less and less than before, gay communities in cities are often very tight nit and seem like a small neighborhood in itself. I can't begin to imagine what it's like for a community to deal with such an event. I don't think it's reasonable to tell the media not to cover an event we all want to read about. But I would like us all to reiterate the idea that there is nothing interesting about someone that decides to buy a bunch of guns and murder innocent people. They overcame no great feat to do.
  21. If you really felt that way, in the future best thing to do is let your best man know. I'm sure he really wanted you to have a good time, and knew you like sox so chose this. People can think that their friends can read their mind or are picking up hints, but it's so hard to plan for someone else. There's obviously over planning, but it's always better to overcommunicate in those situations.
  22. I'd put it at 0.
  23. Isn't Chicago media but glad to hear Mike Caray is OUT of the CBS booth. Man he was terrible.
  24. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 12, 2016 -> 05:29 PM) Rodman got suspended 11 games for kicking a cameraman in the nuts. I'm sure if Draymond jumped for a loose ball into the media booth and punched reggie miller in the nuts he'd be suspended 11 games too. But yeah, watch Celts/Lakers highlights, that's the heyday right? Draymond would have been par for the course. I'll take Greens nutpunching over Dellevadova diving at peoples knees.
  25. He should have become LH over the winter.
