  1. Really pumped Peanut stayed. He probably won't stay on the field more than 8 games, but still glad he stayed.
  2. Man, I just can't stand this Mizzou team. So glad the seasons over so I don't have to get push updates on their ridiculous play.
  3. I find it so annoying how Hinrich always turns it on for National TV games, which then reinforces the national tv announcing praising Hinrich for being a gritty vet.
  4. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 04:47 AM) After spending a couple hours and 3 whole US dollar bills, I finally got my NFC music system set up in my car. Maybe this is more of a technology thread thing, but I've got my NFC tag to.... Disable WiFi, Enable Bluetooth, Connect to Bluetooth Aux adapter, Auto-play Google Play Music That last part was the real b****. I could get Play Music to open, just not start. After spending $3 on Tasker, and downloading random plugins and googling myself in to dead-ends, the answer was simply changing Trigger's "preferred media player". And now after all that, I've decided I don't want to use Play Music because it always finds the clean versions of all my songs, and that's annoying as hell. So after trying to stay away from filling my phone with music, I think I'm just going to say f*** it and copy all 13GB or so of my songs to my phone, and then manually update my phone with new music, which is annoying. If anyone has a suggestion to avoid doing that, let me know. That's interesting actually. I wish Spotify/Google Play/etc would add a feature to remove "edit" versions from their selection. So annoying when walking around and trying to figure out the difference between to albums with same title, just different images. (By same token, you could force ONLY edit versions for stupid kids)
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 03:44 PM) The Tamil Tigers were basically wiped out a few years ago. yep.
  6. One thing about it, is I don't think every player on the bears line was as bad as they played last year. I think they played much worse because they did not have enough players to rotate and specialize. Corey Wootton should not start at defensive tackle for the whole game. And he's a good example, I think he will be much more productive going back to a fresh rotating DE.
  7. Well either way, that's a fine contract that we won't need to worry about.
  8. It's a constant struggle, and one reason why I'm so annoyed by national political parties at the local level.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 03:49 PM) Weems is probably our return man now, no? I think Hixon would be the new return man. I see him referred to as WR/KR everywhere.
  10. LOL Brooklyn just beat the heat in an exciting game and started celebrating. Losers. Don't they know it means nothing.
  11. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 09:48 PM) Chiefs have a pretty good coach. Sorry, I meant to imply that the Browns have a similar situation to what the Chiefs had pre-Reid. They just have completely inept coaching and a crap QB. They may not have as good of a defense, but Gordon is as dynamic as Charles, and RBs should be easy to fill up.
  12. My friend is a huge Browns fan and I seriously feel so terrible for him. Is there a team more comparable to the KC Chiefs? They have everything but good coaching and a good QB and they have done nothing to correct that.
  13. Old Man Weeden will serve as the wise sage backup to Cutler.
  14. That McCown deal isn't that crazy is it? QBs just make a ton of money. Unless you are Kaepernick or Wilson on your rookie deal, you are making some fine money.
  15. Re: MD Jennings, I think it is reassuring to think that we basically needed 2 deep at every position this year, so not every signing is going to be a starter.
  16. gulp. edit: Was MD Jennings from Jacksonville with Mel Tucker? edit: No, don't know who I was thinking of.
  17. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 06:02 PM) Are any of the Bears' offensive starters not under contract for next year? I think Garza was only one and he was re-signed. You just have your depth to re-sign.
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 05:48 PM) I hate Jared Allen. I also want Jared Allen. FWIW Michael C Wright said chances were slim.
  19. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 01:39 PM) Idiot. Byrd is a nice guy to have in CF, but he's not worth that type of contract. I also have no idea how they'll have money to resign Graham next year though. Guess the Bills will just have to sign him and give a big middle finger to New Orleans. I would say they will find a way to give graham some weirdly large contract that nobody thinks could work but works because the NFL salary cap is insane.
  20. I'm a bit surprised the Pats have yet to go for it considering the age of Brady and the coach. They keep playing value but at some point your QB will be gone.
  21. Amazed Broncos have Ward and Talib signed. How do they have that money? Also, sorry site about Byrd.
  22. It's amazing, last year vet defensive players couldn't smell a contract. All of them that signed 1 year deals and didn't get injured definitely are getting paid this year. Poor DJ Williams.
  23. I wonder if Cornelius Washington has progressed at all.
  24. Yeah, from Michael C Wright looks like we will have big interest in Melton, whom is only getting feelers from the cap screwed Cowboys. I'd feel a lot better about Draft Pick - Ratliff - Melton - Houston... But the main issue is that is still a 1-deep Dline.
