Why is Seabrooks so hesitant to chase after pucks dumped in? Another goal off of lazy getting back by him

I get that it bounced higher than it should have but the whole "and it curved!?!?" Thing to be the type of justification people make up when you have the reputation Quick has.

Oduya fans on a shot and then doesn't get back well Ugh that was so painful considering how badly hawks botched that offensive possession.

2014 Draft class
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 06:10 PM) i dont believe at all that rodon gets past the top 3, still think he goes #1(listening to the score about him going to the cubs) I think writers are tired of writing same mock and are getting more creative.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 05:52 PM) http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article/mlb/tracy-...p;vkey= Is there such a thing as "too many Cubans" on one MLB team? What an absolutely bizarre thing to ask.

2014 Draft class
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 04:47 PM) That article is free and has Aiken going 1 and Kolek to us. It would have Sox choosing among both Rodon and Kolek and selecting Kolek.

OFF DAY TALK: 1/3 of the season mark grades
I like how board went from panic mode Sale required TJ to even recommending preemptive TJ to suddenly tearing him down for missing a month with a sore arm in a year where 70 pitchers have gone down.

OFF DAY TALK: 1/3 of the season mark grades
Is missing one month considered half the year now?

OFF DAY TALK: 1/3 of the season mark grades
QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ May 29, 2014 -> 04:40 PM) It's hard to rate a lot of these guys. I think overall the offense was great. Flowers specifically is TERRIFIC, A+ unquestionably, and last night's game is a perfect reason why. Goes 0-4 and reaches on an error, seems like a bad night, but his 2 strike approach ALLOWS him to be aggressive early in the count, look for his pitch, and then stay alive when he's down. He's never been able to do that before. Reaching via error puts Leury into the game, and that wins it for us, and no way that can ever happen - and no way his "cheapy" hits ever happen either - without that change in approach. I don't expect Tyler to be a .300 hitter, maybe he's more of a spastic type that will hit .270 when year with a lower SLG% from fewer HRs, then have a year with a very low BA and lower OBP but with a quality HR total for a C. But either way if he keeps his approach he is a Major League catcher. And holy s*** at that development, that is absolutely HUGE for this organization. I'm kind of amazed we were actually able (we = sox organization) to develop a hitter who was down like this. Steverson = A+

OFF DAY TALK: 1/3 of the season mark grades
QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ May 29, 2014 -> 04:18 PM) I almost want to give Quintana an A. From a DIPS/FIP/fWAR perspective, he's actually on pace to have a BETTER season than last year. I truly thought last year was his peak, but that may not be the case. He doesn't appear to have TWTW though.

OFF DAY TALK: 1/3 of the season mark grades
Greg said a point I agreed with yesterday, it seems like this team has been way more successful than 1 game over .500. I've enjoyed this season more than any other run since the 2010 24-7 run (my favorite sox team that did not make the playoffs). Grade As: Sale, Abreu, Eaton, Gillaspie, Ramirez, Petricka, Dunn Grade Bs: Beckham, Viciedo, Quintana, Webb, Bellinelli, Flowers, Grade Cs: Sierra, Danks, Nieto, Rienzo, Carroll, rest of bullpen Grade Ds: De Aza, Downs, Francisco
