  1. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 20, 2014 -> 09:24 PM) Well, they do have to play home games at UMinny's field for two years while the new one is being built. oooh, gotcha, I now completely understand. Was not connecting with me why people were saying Uminny was outside.
  2. this is actually pretty awesome: http://www.vikings.com/stadium/new-stadium/images.html
  3. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:06 PM) No, it's not, but it's still going to be very cold trying to do anything in town aside from being at the game. Weird, for some reason I felt like they were making a big deal on how it would affect Teddy Bridgewater when he was drafted.
  4. QUOTE (Dunt @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:23 PM) I have nothing to base my claim on, Nobody really does at this point.
  5. Their new stadium is outdoors right?
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 20, 2014 -> 06:35 PM) At this point, we need one of Melo or Love to stomp their feet and insist that they want to be a Bull. That is the big thing that always works for LA is that players ask to go there. If one of those guys puts the pressure on their organization, and insists that either send me here, or you will get nothing for me in return, the power of the Knicks/Wolves is dramatically reduced. That is sometimes the case but there's also the Nash trade, Gasol trade, first Chris Paul trade and even Dwight trade where not much was given back. Dwight wanted to leave but not necessarily to Lakers. Other teams facilitated it.
  7. The thing that sucks about being a Bulls fan is that if we were the Lakers and someone threw out that Love/Martin trade I'm pretty sure everyone would be like "well obviously, of course!". Dumb trades happen every year in NBA but for bulls it's like we have to give equal value.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 20, 2014 -> 03:53 PM) If you want to wait a season, sure. I was under the assumption that the Bulls want the picks from the upcoming draft, not next seasons Yeah I kinda assumed a Love transfer there. It was early when I wrote that.
  9. On the other hand, wasn't it Montreal who won first 2 on road in Boston and lost 2 at home? Maybe they are just really bad at home.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 20, 2014 -> 01:45 PM) To me, that pretty much takes everyone but the Lakers off the table. I dont want Minnesotas middle round pick or Memphis' late round pick. The Bulls have that already Minnesota in Western Conference - Love = bad team even with Thibs. I may take 2 first rounders in that case.
  11. Yeah good luck stealing 2 in NYC.
  12. My best case prediction: Bulls have shown no penchant for the "BIG MOVE". So eliminate all three way deals. Eliminate any trades, as they overvalue their assets (except Thibs or anyone that questions Tony Snell being best draft pick in history) The best shot we have is signing Carmelo. It is the easiest thing for Paxson and Gar to grasp, and will not cause them to stick their neck out too much in reorganizing the team.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 19, 2014 -> 10:00 PM) When is the last time that the Bulls signed a top tier FA? Ill hang up and listen. Not really fair, he was hired in the year we went on a spending spree for Boozer and had just re-signed Noah and Deng. Since then team has been right at or above the luxury tax. But we have seen players sign for less to be on his teams.
  14. If we don't get Love, updating PF doesn't really do it for me because presumably that is Mirotic who is younger, hopefully less injury prone, and overall a less punchable face.
  15. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 19, 2014 -> 06:22 PM) Obviously the Bears would need to be able to extend Kevin Love as well. Well they just extended Marshall, so why not.
  16. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 19, 2014 -> 06:38 PM) Why do they call Marc Trestman the quarterback whisperer? Mainly for his reputation with QBs and the play that came out of Josh McCown and Jay Cutler last year.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 18, 2014 -> 10:22 PM) While I am in Dreamland... Melo or Love, if you had your choice... Go. Love. I think in general he fits much better with a great Rose, too. Also youth and all that.
  18. I love the occasional Oduya passing brilliance. The no look, clean pass to the tape of Toews was a thing of beauty. The amazing thing about this team is when they get a great chance in a crucial moment they execute it. That is a rare feat in sports, not just Chicago sports.
  19. Nice to see a pitcher deliver the ball quickly
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 18, 2014 -> 05:36 PM) That had nothing to do with it. I mentioned an upcoming DL stint for him a week ago. Why not try and get by this weekend then and make it retroactive rather then risk it being worse?
  21. Lynch taking kicks today.
  22. LA and it's not even close.
  23. What are the chances the owners will hire a commissioner that will "stand up to owners"
