QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 24, 2013 -> 04:24 PM) Oh, I'm sorry...I read your post wrong... Oh yeah, I meant since my family's in Chicago I don't need to travel to see them, so I let those who do get time off.

    Madison and Dearborn.

Moved to an website design agency. Get to work more on account and continue to learn more development stuff. I'm terrible at coding but I can at least identify problems and edits now.
  4. I have never watched him pitch, but I would be shocked if this guy does anything more than give us a few spot starts. You need those guys! They are great! But why trade someone and anticipate all of these projects will work out.

Damn so in after working there 3 years with 5 days rolled over each year you could already take a sabbatical at that point.

Yeah I'm hoping to head out about 3:30, our CEO is ordering us steaks though, that's nice. I usually work these times because my family is in Chicago. I'd rather those that need to travel to travel and I take my time off in a week or two.

    Roll call.
  9. Call me crazy but I think the Bears show up well. It will be at home. I don't know, ugh they are going to lose aren't they! UGH
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 11:13 PM) I don't know that we'll get enough more opportunities to post these, so.... without further adieu... KYLE ORTON MAKES BAD CHOICES the classic. a staple. still conscious. still going. andrew wk can't party hard like this. honestly, even at 30 I could still bury it with that nasty broad with very little effort. this is an NFL QB, people. spills happen fake blowjob. drink some water, bud. back home. made it. let's drink a lot more. human mind always wins. instead of allowing alcohol poisoning, we're going to elect to "pass out". pictures ensue. Kyle Orton. Quick aside: Everyone pray for a Cowboys loss. I can only imagine the horrible calls to the Score if the Cowboys win and the Bears lose this weekend. "THAT ORTMON IS GREAT WE SHOULDA KEPT 'IM BEARSSSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssssss." thank you so much for compiling that. I'm dying laughing.
  11. Honestly even if we just replaced RH Dylan Axelrod with LH Dylan Axelrod it's not like it will set this team back.
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 08:52 PM) If you want to have your guys get better during your tank season, the worst position to intentionally decimate is point guard. If your point guard is completely inept, it is really difficult to develop as an offensive player I kinda agree with this. Also just in terms of players being pissed in general. This is one year of their very short careers. Don't take away someone that let's them succeed and make their case for contracts.
  13. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 08:50 PM) tl;dr I can't believe the length of these posts.
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 08:40 PM) Everything about this guy screams at me LH version of Dylan Axelrod. I guess being a junk balling lefty is better than a junk balling righty. Well Axelrod beat King Felix last year and #wins.
  15. I know nothing about him, but I like having these fringe guys for some spot starts.
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 09:00 PM) Why would the Bears D be any better under Lovie? I mean these are like 3-4 string guys we're running out there. I thought that was a valid excuse in week 5-9 but I'm done with that excuse at this point. Find me the "3-4" string guys we are running out there.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 07:53 PM) It'd be interesting to see how the defense would have done if Lovie was still around. I think we could have been a top 15 scoring D still but still pretty bad in ypg given up.
  18. Really the surprising thing is the only thing worse than the bears rushing defense is the Browns rushing offense.
  19. I will say it was hard to watch that game without going full-on meathead, but the next day just calm down people.
  20. Ryan Masset was a QB or something.
  21. At this point I'd give bears 2.5 and that's it. They don't want to be in playoffs.
  22. QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 05:18 PM) Speaking as a Packers fan, I fully expect the Bears to beat Green Bay on Sunday. As bad as they looked against Philadelphia, the Packers' "defense" is going to make them look like world-beaters. Throw in the coaching genius known as Mike McCarthy and the Bears can't lose. The Pack will need to score 40 points to outplay their horrible defense, and that ain't happening. All I can think is you packer fans have no idea how spoiled you are when Mike McCarthy is your idea of a whipping boy for coaches.
  23. Not this year. Anyway good news for #teamtank. Toronto is looking competent. I think #teamtank needs the following three teams to make a hot run and push above bulls for playoffs: Raptors Pistons Bucks* Bucks are obviously the hardest to count on, but they have an org who WANTS to win which is hilarious and may help team tank.
  24. QUOTE (Boogua @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 04:41 PM) I think Jay could have played the game of his life and they probably wouldn't have won. Giving up 300 yards on the ground and 47 points on defense doesn't usually result in wins. Jay didn't play well, but I think it's fair to say he didn't get enough help. McCown had a 115 passer rating against the Vikings and only scored 20. Something doesn't add up there. His two TDs were a 46 yard TD by Jeffry (ridiculous catch) and an 80 yard TD by Jeffry. He can move the sticks pretty well because he's patient and doesn't mind checking down. He won't lose you many games with bad throws, but he won't win you many with his throws either. With how bad the Bears defense is they need a guy that can win you a game with his arm. No, Jay couldn't have won the game. But the d score was worse by our 3 and outs. And really the issue and why I'm so annoyed by his play was this was a game we knew the offense could not get behind schedule. Yet they came out with three and outs and bad throws and drops. And worse is when Jay gets behind it brings out bad Jay so easily. He holds onto the ball longer, he starts firing ball to Marshall in double coverage, he gets sacked and fumbles from both of these. Basically if we fall behind by more than 10 he ditches the offense. But you are right, McCown uses our offense to work the ball up and down the field beautifully. But his lack of arm kills us in red zone.
