QUOTE (Knuckles @ Nov 7, 2013 -> 04:05 PM) Magic Johnson: The Bulls and Knicks need to make a trade if they're going to compete with teh Pacers, Heat and Nets. Agree completely with Magic for the first time ever. I think it's easy to overreact. But I do worry. People thought others were overreacting about lakers after 4-5 games last year but it turns out the problems were real. Just so bizarre how awful the offense is. I think Rose needs to chill out and get his teammates moving. I think they are all worried about getting Rose back on track and it's affecting them.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 7, 2013 -> 04:37 PM) I just keep looking back to last year's game. It was in Eugene and Stanford held the Ducks to 14 points. Obviously these aren't the same teams, but they are close and I can't get that out of my mind. Seems to always happen in the PAC though. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 6, 2013 -> 08:58 PM) And the guy was sent a $6,000 bill for the whole ordeal!! Hope that guy makes millions and never has to work another day in his life. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/1...-in-drug-search Wow.

pork projects has tended to mean infrastructure projects. Pork would be great to have again.

I picked up Doug Martin, hearing he may play next week. I may have an HOF collection of disappointing RBs: Ray Rice MJD DMcFadden DA Williams Doug Martin There has been 4 weeks where my 3 rbs starting combined for a total less than 8 pts.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 08:17 AM) Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but taking Dion Waiters at #4 in the previous year's draft really forced their hand. I wonder if Kyrie Irving thinks if he can win with that team as currently constructed in the long-term. This is what kills teams that are consistently in lottery. They start trying to force players to fill out their team and they lose sight of franchise changing BPA.

I used to think Seneca Wallace was best backup QB in game, but damn he has no arm anymore. Kind of stuck though if you are packers. Tough to pick up a QB off the street and expect them to perform well. Maybe just do some power running all game.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 03:54 PM) 105.14 in my half ppr league. Yep, half PPR
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 03:41 PM) Ouch. Those two combined for 90 points alone. Probably 100+ in a PPR league. He also had KC's 2 TD defense.

Tonight will be an interesting game for Bears. We'll see if Trestman's offense has better insight on moving the ball vs. Pack. And we'll see if Rodgers can break passing yards in game record vs. our terrible defense.

Nothing like not even getting to enjoy your 200 yard 3Td performance from Hilton because you went up against Nick Foles and Andre Johnson.

Yay Mizzou. Mauk doesn't have much touch on slants but he is explosive. Ours rbs/dline took it over though. Only UT points was a 51 harder. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 3, 2013 -> 01:44 AM) Rose didn't want to come back too early and embarrass himself. Haha

A 1-year deal with the #Bears, per source. Cool. I hope we aren't out of it by then.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 1, 2013 -> 04:51 PM) Except Rubio is at least 1/2 a Tea Party guy right now. I don't think he's unelectable at all....if he can continue to move to the middle without completely alienating his former sponsors. After 8 years of Obama, surely they'd take him over another Clinton, notwithstanding the fact that the economy actually prospered while the Clintons were in office after recovering from the early 90's recession. Rubio has no constituency. If you are going to try and get a bipartisan bill passed you kinda, haveta deliver the votes from your party. Now both sides don't like him.

QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 1, 2013 -> 04:51 PM) You are starting a new franchise in Seattle. The NBA, in a strange move, says you can choose one of two players as your franchise cornerstone whose salary won't count against your cap. You can have Derrick Rose or Stephen Curry. You're an expansion team, so you don't have any existing pieces to consider in your choice. Who do you choose? I'd choose Rose. I'm assuming he gets back. But something about Curry's ankles scares me more than Roses' long injury. Just seems like he'll have nagging injuries like that a lot.
-
Derrick is just not seeing the court yet. I know he was getting a lot of contact, but if I was a ref, I'd have a hard time calling a foul on the defense when the offensive player just ran straight into a three dudes under the hoop. He's figuring out what real seams are by attacking everything resembling them. I'd rather he let the game come to him a bit more.
-
Bulls offense needs time. But they are awful right now.
-
Rose just looks horrible. 6/22 stop trying to finish into triple teams.
-
Can we eliminate clear path? Takes sooo long to sort out.
