Probably, Romy strikes out but has shown a pretty good approach at times. Sosas walk rate hasn’t sustained outside double a, not that it was high.

How do we know that romy isn't even at mlb suck level right now? He was injured to start the year, he's looked good in rehab and had a double last night. Not advocating benching harrison per se, but Romy has actual power which could be a big boost right now with our single-mcgee approach.

If there's one thing the last decade has taught me, it's that over 30 year old released players always provide immediate production upgrades over young players. It's definitely that.

fine if they decide to get andrus but Sosa can and will turn it around. Apparently he needs to go to AA after being at AAA for a month because he's had a tough time adjusting for a week. This after seeing post after post after any hitter has a solid week in the minors that they should be brought up immediately. Romy was also cast to the shadows last year after a bad week (though I would be fine if Romy was up).

I just don’t care about mlb pipeline. By next spring their list will start to match BA and others mid years. But by that time BA and others that actually get looks will have moved on. I think they do decent work on the draft, but I just don’t much care for their farm stuff.

The Ringer has the bears at 30th in offense and 32nd in defense. I don't think the Bears are going to be good. But just kinda re-enforces my opinion that the nfl media is by far the worst of the bunch. 100% front-running, 100% vibes based. They dislike that the bears drafted Justin Fields out of turn, and therefore the new regime is not allowed to clear the cap for a year like they'd laud any other team for doing - because they didn't surround Justin Fields with the talent they like. Therefore - they must have the worst of everything. Would love to hear the rationale for how the Bears, who were 13th in DVOA last year against a brutal slate of top QBs, are going to be worse than the Falcons defense.

mlb is hard. Adley Rutschman looked terrible for 2 months. Now he's great. Rodriguez man. It was really weird for that guy to start off disappointing, because since he showed up in DSL he just never, ever disappointed when everyone else was. But it wouldn't hold. Because Jose Rodriguez never disappoints.

Among other things, really thrilled that Hendriks did not eff around. Feels good. Crowd is legit. Mentioned it a bunch but crowds this year have been fun, games have been fun, even when the product hasn't. We actually do deserve good things.
