I never realized how big of a deal college gameday was until I got to college. I hope Mizzou gets it next week, that will be f***ing sick. BTW, Mizzou is a damn good football team with an unreal offense.

great thread caulfield! I hope we don't have to really think about this stuff for another month, though. We'll see. Question, should beckham come up, people see him as a #2? And there doesn't seem to be a leadoff hitter in our system. So unless we get Furcal, we are looking for a short term leadoff hitter, but eventually we'll need to find that long term guy we haven't had since Ray ray.

The only players I don't like is OCabrera and Vazquez. I like any player that is giving his all for the sox. As long as you show me the effort I'm not gonna hate on you, just because the skill might not be there. f***, I love Griffey, always have. Sucks he strikes out so much but it's such a thrill for me to see him in a sox uniform. It's that type of stuff in baseball that goes beyond the numbers. I can't believe you hate Konerko, guys been a class act on the southside, and the face of the franchise.

Hmm... I don't get to many sox games, went to a bunch in 05. Saw JD's walkoff v. the angels the day after? Timo had that single for the walk-off. I remember one half-price monday game against the indians. We were up 8-0, they went up 9-8, we then tied it. Then in extras, Jose Valentin hit a walk-off home run. That was fun. I've seen a bunch of Crede walk-offs. One was a grand slam v. the tigers. The games I saw in 07 were BRUTAL. Saw a CQ homerun v. I think the Angels this year. It was a good game.
