Disagree on pitching. Mena, Simas, D Martin, J Dominguez, Burke, Noah Owen all noteworthy as starters. Id also Shoutout to Colby Smelley

I’d say he’s ahead of schedule
  3. Basically while not the biggest need, the board value right now screams Edge or Corner to me
  4. Eh I think using a pick on a corner is good. They are expensive and when they are cheap it’s always because they are like 5’8 or slow as molasses. Like Pitre sounds very Flusian
  5. I think Hub is stupid here. Those teams all already in the management phase of keeping a lot of core players paid. The Bears are not. The teams trading for top WRs and paying them all have QBs on rookie deals. The teams trading them don’t. He’s just misapplying what’s happening.

ok, jeeze how dumb. When you switch between dates the URL doesn't change.
  8. Kanny Double-Header https://www.milb.com/scores/chicago-white-sox/2022-04-27 Sorry, I can never seem to find how to get to the MLB page? It's like MLb doesn't want you to find it.
  9. I don't know, it's just been a thing people have been saying. This is the time of year where we just say "yeah I guess I'd be okay with Rudy Gobert" and then in July we'll be like "Yes, if we could just get Brook Lopez we'll be champions"
  10. Hard to know where sox deal with some of that but when you are drafting at 26 you end up needing to make more decisions on guys like this. Love pitchers with good changeups.
  11. Looked through 2018, 2019, 2020 drafts. The bears playing catch-up constantly was just brutal. The second rounder traded for Anthony Miller would have put them in a round where DK Metcalf, AJ Brown, Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel were all taken. But they had no third rounder, traded for Trubisky in 2017. Just constant playing catch-up and not allowing them to play the board. While it may be tempting to go after a Metcalf, really feels like they just have to re-set with picks. I don't remember where they are at but seems like next year they have real chance to start at 8 picks. If they can, I'd drop the later 2nd to round 3 and pick up an extra fourth. Anywhoo. The 2020 I have to say Pace looks to have done decent in. Maybe better off if they doubled up at CB (was my preferance going in). After looking at a few years, definitely not a fan of round 2 tackles unless it's dallas drafting them.
  12. Sorry, I know him well. I don't get why it seems like players like Seby are still above him despite appearing much more flawed.

    Abreu 2023

I thing he retires. Would be nice if sox give him a mountain top to retire on.
  14. BA gets way more views on any of our carolina rosters, so I doubt that. He's also definitely the 2nd worst evaluator, just ahead of callis/mlb pipeline. I've actually come around to BP despite some eccentricities. That said, I also could care less about arm strength for Outfield. I know it's a factor but push comes to shove, nobody gives a shit about it. Any team would throw a 1 armed outfielder out there if he could cover all the ground and hit like a maniac and get the ball in reasonably to the cut off man.
  15. Their entire bench needs to go minus Ayo/Caruso. Too much non-playable fat, too little shooting. TBJ, bye. Coby, Bye. DJJ bye. Tristan - fired into the sun. Javonte - Bye. Simonovic - why were you given a real roster spot.
  16. Doesn’t Eloys injury kinda clear out DH for Burger?
  17. Wes Benjamin gonna win the Mike Wright MILB Pitcher of the Year award
  18. Would love to know what I’m missing with this guy
  19. He was really great 2 years ago, I don't know though. Maybe a pick next year. It's just he's 28 and already paid on a second year deal.
  20. I think people will appreciate when Kelly joins as well (so long as we occasionally have a lead)
  21. @Y2Jimmy0 is Kade Mechals in the org still? Did he just never recover from TJS?
  22. Wow he still looks so tiny. Intrigued by his start to the year. Definitely a player that could have used all of 2020 considering how raw he was in his HS career. But now seems to know his value, seems like he's walking a lot and getting more hits under his belt. Hopefully acceptable power can come and his speed provides plus defense. Might be someone who takes the long way to the majors but still put himself back onto the intrigue list with this start.
