to be quite honest I thought every one of these games looked like a schedule loss (not really, but with the injuries, and the way rotation lined up, seemed like it), so I'm happy we won the series. But looking forward to seeing how they look this weekend. Encouraging stuff for the most part in offensive game plan, and Dylan/Kopech seems like they can get us in good position for a series win vs. TB, but obviously will be tough.

Haven't been able to watch this game, but wanted to bring up a game several years ago vs. cleveland, where there was some humidity or weird pressure system, and after the opening fireworks of the game, all of the smoke and fog just hung right over the infield. You couldn't see through it at all. anyway two guys got on base and then an infield pop-up could not be fielded. Fun times.

The As preferences are what happens - our lesser prospects aren't as competitive as what other teams could offer. There's a team that should kick rocks, it's just not the one you are focusing on.

So just to make sure I understand your argument is that the As shouldn't try to get a good player for Montas because they have a bad farm and so they should accept worse players from a 30th ranked farm because they already suck?
