4/22 Games
Seems like there are a lot of posters now in the NC area. My pop moved to Raleigh and haven't been in a few years. Would be fun if a meet-up worked out sometime this summer (personal fav is W-S but all equally annoying to get to from R-D area so we'll see what could work out!)

How Concerned Should We Be?
I can feel my brain turning into a black hole that will consume all mass around me as I read this post.

How Concerned Should We Be?
One thing is that the baseball season is very long, but regardless it sucks when the sox play suck. The checkbox of things of sox to improve to help vs. elite pitching are basically all contained within AJ pollock in terms of where that was actually addressed. Harrison is our latest 30 year old + vet signing after a terrible second half that was a sign of imminent collapse that Hahn boxed himself into.

Yeah usually I’d say wait until June but he’s repeating this level. Likely related to Mendick and Burgers return soon, but Romy can play outfield, may even be wise to have him focus there for a bit.

I haven’t found them to be particularly aggressive under Getz.

White Sox Intl Review
https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2021-22-international-reviews-chicago-white-sox/ One new guy I think, and a late last period signing Badler included since he had so much free time because the white Sox signed an incredibly teeny class again. Which is a good strategy because they get less draft picks than every team in their division. Which is ok because they don’t have a budget.

Parallels between Bulls and Sky right now ❤️

2021-22 NBA Thread
As years go by I feel like bulls would have been so much better off keeping Gordon in 09 and not signing boozer. We had taj/Noah/asik as frontcourt already and boozer operated in the mid range where rose liked. Meanwhile Gordon > Bogans. The whole Gordon would have prevented Rose stuff was so much nonsense.

Giolito could return in 5 days
His duel vs. King Felix was epic. Also saw a ton of Scott Carroll.

Sox could get back Pollock Friday
I feel like it's supposed to be really nice this weekend. 80 on saturday. If it's not, I'm going to riot.

Giolito could return in 5 days
Dang I have tickets next friday. Seems like one of those seasons where I'll see like an unbelievable amount of VV starts. I think in 2015 or 16 I saw like 80% of Dylan Axelrods starts.

That is an ideal James Beard game. On base 3 times and 2 SBs.

Ball Talk 2022
Football accuracy declines in cold weather (when the ball deflates), because it is negated by it being more difficult to throw with numb fingers. And you are thinking of this in terms of pitchers, when the person that is affected is hitters, who are say hitting a ball 112 mph with a 9 degree launch angle and flying out to the warning track like Aaron Judge on Sunday.
