He had a lat strain before the real st even started. Will be out a few months.

hope so, but just a really good slot. Lockett was so good in college though, that offense was putrid, it was all just bill snyder defense and lockett and they still couldn't stop him.

Charlotte, W-S, Kanny look competitive so far. Birmingham has the best manager. Sox minors could see like a 100 win improvement lol.

This is so annoying. Liam will always have a special place in my heart for using his time with the commish to ask for the end of blackouts so we can just get mlbtv and not be shuffled around forty streaming services.

I’m just saying we’ve seen guys recently show that they are way too good for a level immediately and it looks like Luis Robert 2019 or Eloy 2017 not colas taking a few walks in high A

Feel like way too many assessments here being filed after only a week of games.

Bailey walks again. Bases loaded in W-S

really liked seeing him get out of that jam with just one sac fly. But yeah he won’t be able to just blow by guys soon.
-
Bailey has reminded himself that he was the walk god. I wonder if he lost himself trying to create power. 2 BBS again tonight. Pitching has delivered so far.

to be quite honest I thought every one of these games looked like a schedule loss (not really, but with the injuries, and the way rotation lined up, seemed like it), so I'm happy we won the series. But looking forward to seeing how they look this weekend. Encouraging stuff for the most part in offensive game plan, and Dylan/Kopech seems like they can get us in good position for a series win vs. TB, but obviously will be tough.

Thirty thursdays sounds sweet

Haven't been able to watch this game, but wanted to bring up a game several years ago vs. cleveland, where there was some humidity or weird pressure system, and after the opening fireworks of the game, all of the smoke and fog just hung right over the infield. You couldn't see through it at all. anyway two guys got on base and then an infield pop-up could not be fielded. Fun times.

I'm not so surprised, BA always seems conservative with players they haven't really seen. 2-3 years off, etc. I mean I'm a little surprised because that's very low in this system, but he has so few notes in his writeup that are updated, I expect mid-year to be more interesting.

That's awesome.

I know it's a bit scary with his minor league hand injuries but man stealing bases is awesome and robert doing it is the best. That's my take

A's interested in Andrew Vaughn/Sox in Montas

Then the real criticism should be the sox, who need pitching but haven't kept up with their depth, and can only offer their #3 overall pick for Montas while other teams can capture players with only their 10th through 30th. The As preferences are what happens - our lesser prospects aren't as competitive as what other teams could offer. There's a team that should kick rocks, it's just not the one you are focusing on. -

So just to make sure I understand your argument is that the As shouldn't try to get a good player for Montas because they have a bad farm and so they should accept worse players from a 30th ranked farm because they already suck? I think that should work. You should pitch that to WBSWF in case Jerry appoints him GM soon.
