Really snuck that out of the Fence. Feels like Kath/Popeye both climbing out of their early holes recently.

3 hit night for Popeye man is there a single pitcher worth following in AA right now?

Oh nice. He’s always been a boom bust guy with a lot more boom this year. Here’s hoping he found something this year.

Damn that was a gorgeous play by Womack there. Also never heard of Womack.

Funny since he has way less eyes and fanfare this year. He always seems to adjust. definitely nice having more young prospects where we see them improve through their promotions, not just atrophy level by level after dominating great falls like the Hostetler college drafts.

Nice to see Hackenberg rally back after going ice cold after his hot start.

Whatever, in my head it will be one Carlos Perez and one yolmer
  8. bmags replied to DirtySox's topic in FutureSox Board
His brothers name is also Carlos?

His offensive jump began in Birmingham
  10. Man Olin Kreutz is nuts
  11. I think just the fact that he was in an outside zone system makes this a likelier bet. Who knows if it fits Monty’s vision
  12. Our dline isn’t very good, and that gap from hill / Kelce to Mooney /Kmet is a Grand Canyon.

    Ramos doubles home a run
  15. I still like Bo Melton but he’s definitely redundant with his size. Ross makes sense.
  16. I’m guessing the bears could use Jones Jr in a Valdez Scantling role. He’s shorter, but fast. Scantling had a similar college career and was a 24 year old rookie with 800 yards receiving his senior year. He may be that deep threat guy with super high Y/R. Still think a Beasley/Landry role should be prioritized.
  17. You are asking who broke out at age 24 and the reason that is possible is because of the pandemic. Maybe if nfl late bloomers like Rod smith (25 in year 1) and Adam Thielen ( 24 years old) had been in bigger programs their college arc would have been similar. Glad for Jones he got that extra year and made the most of it in a better offense than 2020 (where he was second leading receiver).
  18. I’ll look up the previous pandemic years and get back to you
  19. Bears should outsource their scouting to Bruglers big board so they can win the best Athletic grade trophy
  20. I like Bo Melton a lot too but obviously you'll need a bigger receiver somewhere. edit: I LOVE bo melton.
  21. I would eliminate TE just because it's kind of a bum class. But I agree with you on Landry but I also think there is some vet upside on the street right now. Landry, Jones, OBJ, Beasley. Also what if Cohen passes a physical in august, he'd be a nice piece for it.
  22. I disagree there is some boundary that any WR outside of Skyy Moore, Christian Watson and Pickens that makes it a failure. There is absolutely upside in WRs that can like run routes and not have reconstructed knees and have positions and stuff.
  23. I don't really think OL is that big a win at 39, I think there is a good amount of interior talent through round 3 and I'm not crazy about 2nd round tackles. Had Linderbaum or Tyler Smith fell I'd be more enamored.
  24. Dane Brugler round 2 and 3 mocks Pickens, Winfrey, Darian Kinnard to bears. I'm sure most would be happy with that. Still think they need to try to get a 4th back.

Sounds good then here are my top 5 and you can ignore them Christian Mena Kohl Simas - 22 Y.O. with a 18 K/9 ratio Davis Martin - 25 Y.O. in AA with a 1.89 ERA and 11 Ks/9 BA noted: Sean Burke - 22 Y.O. in Hi-A with a 2.89 ERA though still showing command issues Noah Owen - 21 years old in Single A with a 1.12 ERA Drafted in the 14th round (425th overall) by the Chicago White Sox in 2021 (signed for $125,000)
