  1. I did wonder that. Keuchel was not in those team announcements last night that included all our taxi players and trainers.
  2. @flavum need your weather thoughts
  3. Oh no is one of our players reminding everyone that the Houston players cheated and weren’t punished (unless they retired)? How dare he! Tsk tsk
  4. So glad I’m in the upper deck corners under the roof ! Pretty amazing to me, those seats were way better than I expected. It’s impossible to know if a ball is getting hit in the gap, but I could pick up way more that in outfield, and even behind home has limitations.
  5. Oh jeeze this does look terrible. I thought it was holding off until 5, now it’s the whole window
  6. Sox should bring Farquhar to the games as a ?
  7. Definitely, thank God for repeat though. I think everyone needed a break. Realistically we’d cheered for a whole game of baseball time wise at that point. I thought bummers dominance brought it back thou
  8. Can’t express how epic the leury home run was. It felt like the stadium willed it into being.

And I’m sure he has no suitors at shortstop where he’d prefer either

    Bizarre logic.
  11. Yes I think this is true. I meant bad luck in the sense for Bummer, who is doing what he’s paid for but it’s not paying off.
  12. I think it’s just bad luck with bummer, for Kimbrel… the home runs are inexcusable. He has been garbage.
  13. Ceases last start vs Houston was pretty electric, TLR just can’t get cute and leave him in there 3rd time thru. He looked fantastic thru 4. Cease to Rodon would be a really nice play.
  14. Having not seen Fridays game, that was a helpful rundown, super disappointing. My main concern with TLR is he was going to be a hero leaving our starters in as a reaction to things like the Snell game last year. His observational analytics should have come into play a bit more. Hoping it’s just one of those years with Bummer. That every ground all makes it through the infield has been so frustrating
  15. Personally I’m glad they did this. I’ve had games where I don’t get there until the third inning because I’ll be in a standstill trying to get to the cash lots for legitimately 2 hours. I’m hoping not needing to do payment will speed up the process as well as giving people the right lot to go to.
  16. I’m not too concerned about the size just because the tempo should help make that a trade off. Obviously, they aren’t a match for the bucks but overall I like that the bulls are more likely to be dictating the matchups
  17. Calling the giants a fluke ?
  18. I’m so bummed. Keep thinking like, did we just build a version of like those twins teams? Good enough to make playoffs but just a class below the rest? As much as we talk about playoffs being a crapshoot, it feels like the teams like the As and Twins are the opposite of that. I don’t really know what answer is, I think pitching wise the velocity focus hasn’t really paid off against good teams, but those good teams. But offensively, so we go for more power or better contact? And we can’t sacrifice defense for it. OTOH, giants make me feel a bit better on possibilities. They didn’t do a tear down to the studs. They brought in good baseball players and used great tools and teaching to make them better. Stuff like their batting practice heavy on only sliders and cb should be recreated here. This team is so talented, but it’s so tough to see our best lose against their best. And our role players not make in impact, while like Jake Meyers can.
  19. Gonna be on the road for this one. Very nervous. Sox fans are ready to explode with excitement, need some fun in the series. I get the feelings yesterday, it sucked. I want to go into Sunday ready to rock, not ready for a funeral.
  20. Yep. “If we can score a run at least we’re better than the Cubs did in 2020”
