I'm a Burrow-Believer but after thinking Darnold and Mayfield were going to be good based off their first few starts, as well as how all over the place recent QB drafts have been, I'm kinda out on knowing who will be good. After Jackson, Mahomes I think I'd want a guy with a lot of starts/throws in college, but then like Kyler Murray looks really good still. So who knows.

I obviously knew because his first few weeks in W-S were so insane, but I did have a quick reaction of forgetting that both Cease and Eloy were still only in A+ ball when acquired.

He's been tremendous. Next year, I worry a bit. There was a fegan article on all the work he has to do to keep his shoulder up for the workload. Maybe that's just normal for any pitcher, but he'll be 32(?) next year. Really hope Bummer comes back as Bummer because you'd like that insurance if we re-sign Colome and he isn't the same.

FWIW this wasn’t intended as a gotcha bump. Though, there are some pretty bad posts on Abreu in here. Was more shocked that it was just 1 month ago we had this horrible DH, fell to one game under, then we ended up first team to clinch playoffs and are sitting with best record in AL for now. What they did starting with the 4 hr game was incredible

This is me. I know we are going to have a long wonderful ride with these guys, but Abreu will only be there for the beginning. I would have never dreamt that in 2014 that It would be 6 years for him to make the playoffs, and that it may not have happened. That guy is what sports are about. 6 years we’ve watched him. 6 years we’ve over analyzed and blamed him for not being perfect. And now when the team May have needed him both least and most he took the bull by the ducking horns and blasted this team to the best in the AL. Fuck. Yeah. Jose.

Man can't believe this team of players that are so terrible and awful every at bat and play somehow won 3 out of 4 and are the best team in the AL.

Well honestly even from just what I expected of Dyson. It actually is kinda nice to have a position player with WS experience, especially a team that didn't cheat because their manager was probably too dumb to ever figure out how.

He may have incredible anxiety about his body not being normal, and constantly questioning whether something he feels is a problem or right. He may be struggling to pick up a pitch. He may have guessed wrong. He may be really in his head not knowing how to concentrate. We have no idea, that's why most are giving him the benefit of the doubt, because he's experiencing something we don't know a lot about. OR you guys could villify every player that has a bad at bat.

Man these are great at bats from Dyson today.

If he had Bummer you would see it less. And Colome has earned that usage.
