  1. Right I think every 3 days. We are finally capable of entering a stage of mass, rapid testing. Between what U of I has done, Yale/NBA and now Abbott, we have multiple ways to rapid saliva test cheaply on existing technology. This is once again where I'll state that a functioning federal government could actually get us to a point of using this much faster. At the bare minimum, though much cheaper ($5-%10/test compared to $100) it is still costly on businesses/gov'ts already hit hard. That funding relief needs to happen. And, maybe not having a CDC advise that testing isn't necessary if you've come into contact with a COVID-19 pos person right before we are able to test more reliably. And there is so much more to help all of the individual actors get the knowledge and resources they need to have it so American's can be reliably tested through their work/school/place of worship that likely will not happen, and when some of those actors don't do as good of a job, people will blame them rather than the absence of a fed government. Incredibly frustrating.
  2. Definitely a big change in board sentiment is now people gleeful that another team was duped into thinking Quintana was good when during the 2016/17 offseason and season it was mostly rage posting at the Astros to pound sand if they didn’t think Quintana was the ace he was! Quintana was a great pitcher for us, It sucks to me that he is now a punch line. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a career renassaince and finds his effectiveness once again.

  4. Last night when things got intense they were a true asset and added even more enjoyment to the game.
  5. Uh, ha, honestly not sure how to respond to this question. In august?
  6. Low point was definitely the STL double header. Went from valley to peak very quickly.
  7. Fewer things more satisfying than kicking the crap out of clearly inferior teams. Nice to be on the opposing end of it (the right side). I remember 2 years ago going to see sox v dodgers, them coming up to the plate with everyone hitting like .900 OPS and them just beating the absolute snot out of the sox. Now that's us.
  8. I actually believe in Cherington, but it will take time.
  9. absolutely. Orioles got crapped on last year but they had a number of guys surprise. This team has none of that, and unlike the tigers, no respectable vets keeping it somewhat afloat.
  10. He has that kind of movement that does nothing to confuse hitters. You could tell Robert was drooling getting those lateral moving 2 seamers.
  11. That was sick. i love recreating stuff like that and then asking people how high I got off the ground, only to be told I did not leave the ground
  12. There is zero chance Cinci doesn't try to sneak in. I'd bet on them acquiring more than selling.
  13. Anyone know how U of I is faring so far?
  14. Wow I don't feel that at all. Sox have 2 great pitchers right now, and a number of guys with talent that aren't proven or consistent. A 3rd consistent, good pitcher would do wonders. For one, gets Lopez to either force his way into rotation through production or allow us to keep him as an opener/ bullpen piece.
  15. I am so confident in Keuchel vs. this lineup. Just give him 3.
  16. Is deferred money for degrom considered a negative or a huge positive in today’s world?
  17. The writers that tend to write about hypothetical trade proposals are the ones who tend to need them for readership. Bowdens line doesn’t represent anything.
  18. I said if the Mets wanted the best package the braves make sense, not that they are a foregone conclusion.
  19. It feels like we can be trumped really easily. I also question whether mets are really ever in sell mode. I’d imagine Braves would be front runners if mets just want best package
  20. You are giving up kopech for degrom I’m guessing right? They have Alonso. kopech, stiever, outfielder?
