As someone who was critical of sox talking big and not delivering in 18 offseason...this was not that. I wanted Clevinger or Lynn or obviously Woodruff (or Degrom), but if it's not there it's not there. I'm just glad dunning did what he's done so far.

I think it's a much better idea to let Robert, Eloy, Moncada, TA, Madrigal, Gio, Cooper, Bummer as many playoff games as possible this year rather than making sure Burdi gets 10 pitches if he hasn't shown he can hang in preseason unless absolutely necessary.

No we need Cease to pitch so he gets experience.

eh, disagree. I'm out to win playoff games, not trying to get some experience in some hopes he's still a good pitcher on a team that has a run. Winning playoff games is fun.

If he starts walking under 4 a game it's a discussion.

I also do care about experience in playoffs for pitchers. It doesn't always matter, but Lynn has been there, and I just feel confident in a guy that can make it tolerable even without his best stuff in a game.
