Yeah no reason to give him any in game reps.. That would make no sense

Getting Aaron Bummer back is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. What a boost to the pitching staff. Moves everyone up an inning and gives you absurd depth from the left side.

Can you please stop with all the whining Longo?

Noice. It will be so awesome to have Bummer back.

Getting Bummer back for the playoffs will be huge if he is really healthy and ready to go.

Very huge. He is so important to this bullpen. Our version of a "Josh Hader" (poor mans?)

Hopefully he's the Bummer we all love when he comes back and there's no struggles.

Wow it's all coming together.

ALL THE NICE SHINEY TOYS!!!!!

I was thinking of Andrew Miller where he can be used anywhere between the 5th and 9th innings as needed to get the extra tough outs, especially lefties.

Just came here to post the same. Good news.

Guess we could see Bummer then most likely by the 23rd at the earliest?

Not Steve Cishek said Bummer should be back with the team tomorrow.

It is his 45 day, so that makes sense, especially with his workouts coinciding with it.

Does that mean Ruiz is gone?

If I remember correctly, today is the first day Bummer is eligible to come off the 45 day IL

By my count it was Tuesday the 22nd, but it very well could be today.

You must be Not Steve ;)

One time believer perhaps, but I am most certainly NOT Not Steve.

Also: I was saying the 22nd way before Not Steve tweeted it ?

Technically he is back with the team since he is traveling with them.

Now if you take back with the team to mean eligible to pitch again that's different.

I honestly don't know how Not Steve phrased it. Just going by what chw42 said.

I am Not 'Not Steve' but he seems to be reading my mind.  Or just covering his ass ?.

I think it's fairly obvious that he's a poster here or at the very least reads the site. A few days ago he tweeted about how fans should expect Hahn to target Quintana and Pederson in the off-season.... after there was a discussion in a thread here suggesting those should be our targets.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.  Whatever info source he may have had seems to have dried up and now it seems he is regurgitating ideas tossed around here as if its insider info.

He was with the team in Cincinnati. Now not Steve can’t even hit a cookie. Maybe he is Luis Robert.
