  1. The baseline has to be this 10 year 280 deal he turned down from Was (removing that deferred money). Signing for less, even with high AAV, would be really surprising.
  2. One thing that I do strongly believe is the dodgers would have made that trade yesterday even without a possibility of signing Harper. It just opened it up more. But I really wouldn’t be shocked if Friedman maintained discipline. He clearly enjoys this overwhelming depth model, and if he goes for it it may just be for midseason acquisitions.
  3. I figured but googling never found it. Thanks.
  4. Is loaning a legal thing that just isn’t done or is it illegal in CBA?
  5. If only we could sign Harper and then loan him out to dodgers for this year.
  6. That guy should ask for a job as an assistant to the GM like yesterday
  7. This is good but I have not seen the market treat buying a prospect the way the market price hypotheticals have said they would to date. Mostly lower level guys.
  8. Are you seriously concerned about moving Tim Anderson for a Bogaerts?
  9. The idea that this is one or the other is a false choice.
  10. The lesson from A rods deal is you can take biggest deal and if it fails you can just get traded to a competitive team anyway.
  11. Really enjoy watch every pitchers stuff diminish upon promotion while still having poor control.
  12. The reds would say they got better on the ML level today, in a very reds kinda way (marginally).
  13. That’s not true they now have the 5th best rotation and outfield in the division...oh shit I see what you are saying
  14. Somehow I knew the Reds terrible rebuild would end up sucking us in.
  15. I am struggling but this quote was my original post I tried to edit and here I am. Read above.
  16. My hunch is that there actually still isn’t an offer, there will be one presented soon, and Yankees will not be first to make the offer, instead try to bridge the gap as closely as possible.
  17. This line brings terrible flashbacks to winter 2016 when everyone was sure Hahn was playing checkers and would get one of the outfielders for a bargain price and instead we signed jimmy Rollins in March.
  18. I do not follow Anderson but just checking on my own follows, it’s all just not sensical The dumber thing is that he’d follow a bunch of former Phillies that who knows are even part of the pitch.
  19. Also for the record the article does not say that, it is Sherman speculating what hal Steinbrenner would do.
  20. Me too and if so... Tim Anderson was more recent ?
  21. I thought it was ordered by newest on top and if so it’s not true but also...why not follow actual philly players? Like...current ones?
  22. I need to be wowed in conference play.
  23. Also I have doubts Sox were seriously bidding on Yo.
