  1. Konnor Pilkington TLDR Pilkington has had an assortment of 50 to 55 pitches and command for his whole college career but it's been more 50 stuff this spring.
  2. I'm following draft tracker btw https://www.mlb.com/draft/tracker
  3. Yeah I was looking at that too. Would be interesting.
  4. I wonder if it's just a warm-up. Surprising.
  5. Liberatore actually signed around slot which is interesting.,
  6. To the question of who the sox are targeting, I suggested Wolf and Spillane. I think they are players the sox may pick today.
  7. Rounds 3-10 are today.
  8. I'd be shocked if Madrigal was less than slot, and just judging by previous drafts, I doubt Walker was cheaper.
  9. Nice resource of day 2 names available for free here: https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/day-one-draft-recap/ (end of recap)
  10. This third round pick will be interesting. Maybe we go big and get a guy we're surprised we could sign, but if not in third I don't see one we are super pumped by for rest of day (like Abbott but above slightly). But I'm expecting college hitter or pitcher. Maybe Tristan Beck?
  11. I'm never guessing a high schooler ever again with this team. I do think Spillane and Wolf are two players we know they scouted, that's good speculation.
  12. 11:30 am, rounds 3-10
  13. I am falling for the Nagy content hard.
  14. This, along with the quote from madrigal that he'd play anywhere including picking up an outfield glove (no word on catching mitt), is why I wanted Madrigal and was not deterred by the defensively limited stuff. It's not only his instincts and speed being plus, it's his baseball IQ and attitude make him prime to be the guy that plays anywhere and is a spark plug. I am SO excited for him. Hope he doesn't fail, then it will prove once more I don't know anything.
  15. I think you push Basabe without reservations. He'll struggle, but he's shown he can come back with experience. Now with actual offensive prospects in AA, that park doesn't seem near the death valley it once was.
  16. Thanks, podcast links are such a pain to find. Stupid apps!
  17. The Garfein interview with his college coach gets you PUMPED
  18. Yeah. I also like the Louisville guys wolf and stowers. gerber and Spillane from U if I. Montas de oca
  19. I think the diminishing returns may be losing out on what mlb value players like Polo or Fisher could provide. Talking about mostly 40 man depth but they are going to constantly be push d around instead of developing slowly. Situations like Gonzalez need to happen less though.
  20. Like the draft a lot.
  21. 5th college pitcher for royals.
