EDIT: NVM i don't know how to link pictures. It was of monty burns brain and nerve tonic that made ken griffey jr limbs to grow

No idea. But quite surprised since he was promoted stateside ahead of Mieses/Comas/Guerrero. Maybe he came back horribly out of shape.

Well honestly I'd rather him be in DSL playing every day than on the bench save once a week. Granted I do not know if they have backfield games where he's playing more. Not really a fan of promoting a young player like that and then benching him, he is likely just filler but you never know with a player that young.
  5. Wonder if we claim him a la Noesi

The only thing disappointing about that 2016 class this year has been that clearly Coronado, whom I thought could be a dude based on stats last year, must not be very good. He's getting little run as the 4th outfielder. But Comas and Mieses were more $$ signings and they are playing fairly well early. Excited to see AZL shake out. Hoping to see from this group either good contact rates or more xbh, as there is a lot of raw power down there.
  7. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/ct-spt-bulls-wendell-carter-profile-20180623-story.html Nice little profile piece in the trib on WCJ. Reminds me a lot of the Roquan Smith profiles. These georgia stars always seem to have good heads on their shoulders.
  8. Yes he had a nice write-up when he was signed. Last year he basically held his own and it seems like this year he's really matured. Would love if we could find some thoughts on him, maybe will be easier in a few weeks if he keeps it up.

    Good stuff, thanks.

Delgado with another double. Mieses another 2 hits, and Weaver still hanging tough with a .300 average. oh and Sosa another 2 hits.

Phew, glad he’s in there game 2. Quintero is destroying again. With his age if he’s raking for a few weeks I wonder if they press him up a little earlier. also a little confused that milb has him from DR.

Dang I think Sosa may have been injured.

Monster day for Curbelo so far, 2-3 with a 2b and a HR

Adolfo just hit a 3 run homer
  16. As we saw with Curbelo, key for these more raw HS kids is to keep them healthy so they can take advantage of the additional pro development.
  17. For all the talk of hit tool, I’ve been impressed seeing Cabera Weaver taking some walks early on.
  18. I hope Sosa wasn’t injured last night.
  19. It feels like Friday nights are usually big offensive nights.
  20. Mendick with his 9th homer in SL. pretty surprising power from him.
  21. Great start to the day! (If you exclude the horribly depressing majors)
  22. Yeah, though you could say he just lost his legs and he'll be much better conditioned for basketball, something that conditioning for is hard to recreate. I wouldn't say that, because I have very little confidence in Lavine being good.
  23. The weird thing to me is there feels like a huge disconnect between how their top 100 lists play out and their interviews about players. I like their interviews, but pipeline basically hedges by saying like 90% of prospect are between 45 and 55 FV, and they are so slow to drop players clearly having difficulty at higher levels.
  24. PIpeline is so conservative with dropping players down. Curious how many would take Rutherford over Adolfo at the moment
  25. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?cid=&lid=&org=145&sc=&sid=milb&t=affiliate&ymd=20180622 In DSL news, Jose Rodriguez was 0-3 with a K.
