  1. I disagree, the guy batted .322 last year, the problem is his obp was .335. I'm not sure if he finished with the most bunts hit this year but he was leading that category for most of the year, he's one of the best bunters I've ever seen. If someone could teach this guy to be a little more patient he'd be one hell of a leadoff hitter, imo.
  2. Damn, that guy is a pest, he can hit, he can run, he can bunt, problem is he can't walk. I'd absolutely love to get this guy though, damn that got me excited, what an addition he'd be.
  3. I definitely think they're going to move Pauly before carlos. I got a question for you jas, if carl got back in shape do you think he's capable of playing right field?? I mean he was fat and slow last year, if he sheds some pounds and comes to camp in shape do you think he's capable of playing the outfield??
  4. Another guy I think will have a big year for the sox . Anyways I think it's smarter to hold on to Jose anyways, because of his contract and his down year I don't think his trade value is that high and it would be better for the sox to hold onto him, jmo.
  5. I honestly believe Carl is going to come to camp in shape and have a huge year for us. I think he can be that power lefty bat in our lineup for this year. So I'd kind of like to see how Carl comes to camp but I still wouldn't mind shawn. The obvious plus with green over carl is the defensive abilities of the two.
  6. Having Kendall and Vizquel at the top of the order would be something special. All these rumors are making my head spin.
  7. I like the idea of Dye, I love the idea of Pavano . I hate the idea of Ortiz.

He's got a pretty low mileage arm and from what I've heard he has great mechanics and some people have even compared him to Mark Prior mechanically. While he was drafted to be a pitcher down the road he also hit while he wasn't pitching this year. All you minor league experts feel free to add anything. Also, sorry it took me so long to post this, I've been pretty busy as of late.
  10. I remember, I tried searching for it and I couldn't find it.
  11. I'm way to lazy to pull up the stats right now. It's been discussed before, I can't find the thread though. Ask wite I'm sure he can find it, I'm pretty sure he's the one who pulled up all the stats last time. Sorry for putting the burden on you wite.
  12. Must you steal my thunder?? :headshake
  13. I understand where you're coming from santo but the main difference between these two is Percival can pitch Koch can't and never was able to. Sure Troy has lost some velocity but he was absolutely dominate the 2nd half of the year, if the sox were able to sign him, I think the backend of our bullpen would be pretty dominate. I'd love to get troy but it obviously depends on how much money he's going to command.
  14. Ace, just drop it man, no need to make the mods have to seperate this thread.

    Fear Factor

That would be the hard part for me too. The physical stuff would be easy but convincing yourself to eat that should would be pretty damn hard, I'd have to actually be put in that situation to see if I could do it, I can't say for sure whether I'd be able to do it or not.
  16. So which is it, first you say it's easier then you say it's not easier. Don't go telling other people to grow up when you're so blinded by your red sox bias it's disgusting.
  17. I disagree, he was better then most 4th starters this year and even comparable to some 3 starters.
  18. Very true but Jon's been in the majors for quite a while now, I was almost positive he was going to get to that 15 to 18 win mark this year and instead of improving he took a step backwards. I'd also like to keep jon but to get a pitcher the caliber of Rj, cya JG.
