Very true but Jon's been in the majors for quite a while now, I was almost positive he was going to get to that 15 to 18 win mark this year and instead of improving he took a step backwards. I'd also like to keep jon but to get a pitcher the caliber of Rj, cya JG.

Garland has had more chances then Joe, I know JG is younger but we've been waiting for him to reach his potential forever now, he's going to be a 4th or 5th starter in the al imo for the rest of his career, I have no problem with Jon but he's never going to be a number 1 or 2 guy in my career, the possibilities of having a top 3 of rj, freddy and buehrle is to great to pass up.

If esty commands 3 or 4 mill I agree with you spend the money elsewhere. With the vizquel thing seeming a lock, if this trade would somehow go through, I'd like to see a cheap 5th starter signed and then one reliever and I'd be pretty happy. I honestly think Jurrassic is going to have a very solid year for us next year, jmo.

Here's a completely random thought on willie. Does anyone know if willie drew a lot of walks down at the minor league level, for some reason I didn't think he did. Anyways could it be possible that people in the organization have tried to get willie to become more patient so he could become a leadoff hitter and this has maybe taken away some of his aggressiveness?? Anyways, if willie did actually draw a decent amount of walks in the minors I guess my theory goes out the window.

I think you can blame arow for that one. It seemed like willie was going to start playing centerfield with jose at short and juan at 2nd but then arow got hot and willie lost his starting role.

Just got back from the game. Man, it was fun for that comeback but real depressing after the loss. Anyways I think TC will be fine, he was in foul trouble the whole game which basically hampered him today, Deng looked damn good, Hinrich sucked in the first half and was awesome in the 2nd half. Harrington was solid tonight and so was Duhon. One guy that didn't impress me at all was Nocioni, his stat line might look decent but he was pretty bad tonight, I think he'll improve though, jmo.
