I agree with you chisoxfn, to me the two most important fa's this team needs to sign are bart and flash, no matter what happens, with a new manager the sox will be competitive, I know im in the minority but i want to see frank gone, i also would like to see pauly get traded, and I wouldn't mind maggs getting traded if we got something good in return, what i want to see in the offseason is bartolo resigned, flash resigned, a new good manager, and some speed added to the offense. Whatever happens in the offseason, it's going to be hard to put a more inconsistent and worse offense out there, then what they did statistically this year.

I completely agree, I'm tired of having a clump of homerun hitters throughout the whole lineup, hopefully kw will get rid of some of these homerun hitters and get the speed that can win this franchise some baseball games, Luis Castillo would be absolutely amazing, but don't count on it.

I would bet that the majority of baseball fans think the sox would win the division except for sox fans because of a couple of things, one because of this teams history, two because of our manager, and three because of the mental strength of this club, I hate to say it, but the sox are definitely done.

I'm as nervous as I've ever been, tonights game is huge, and if we lose this series, we'd have to look to 2004, and I don't want to end this year with out atleast a division title with all this damn talent.

I'm just curious what the view is from up there, I've never been up there before so I'm wondering if you can actually see things from up there or if its a bad view. So anyone who's been up there before, is it a good view?? THANKS!!!!

Will you please explain to me how the wells traded f***ed us over in the long run, because I'm sure if we had sirotka we'd be much better off right now, and yes the ritchie and koch trades turned out being bad, but kw has done his job he's put a team out there that should win this division and would have a chance to go deep into the playoffs, KW has done his job, JM has not.

I would much rather just see this team stay together, rather then go after Miggy, I would just absolutly love to see what this team could do for a whole year together.

Most likely if the sox make the playoffs they'd play on the road the 30th and the 1st, then have the 2nd off for travel day, and play the 3rd and 4th at home.

What the f*** will it take for you to say Manuel is a bad manager. O great we're tied for first place we should be atleast 7 games up in this pathedic division the sox are much more talented then every other team in the division, and if it wasn't for Manuel we probably wouldn't even be worrying about a division race, and I really do believe jerry is going to cost us a f***in playoff chance, it pisses me off to think where the sox would be with a different manager.

Yup exactly, Tony is great, definitely one of the best utility men in baseball, but he should be on the bench, jose is a better everyday player, and tony is one of the best bench players in the league.

I hate Manuel more then anyone, but I disagree with you bmr, I'm not exactly what his pitch count was, but I know it was only in the 70's or 80's he was pitching pretty well, this was not a bad move by Jerry.
