I disagree with you, what makes you say he'll put up garland like numbers in the al? The numbers he was putting up before he got traded definitely weren't garland numbers, and don't forget he's still young, and keeps getting better every year, I personally think he'd be a great sign.

What's going on with this guy, he's a pretty big free agent out there, and I thought and still think that the sox are going to be in the running for this guy, but I haven't heard anything about him since the offseason started about him, do you think teams have just been waiting to see the giants decline arbitration on him or what? I'm just curious to what's going on with him.

Brandofan, it also should be mentioned that it was crede's first full year in the majors, yes there is 2 halves, but he showed improvement in the 2nd half which is very important, hopefully meaning he's ready to have a solid whole season this year. I don't know how you can say he didn't make any highlight plays at 3rd, cause he made plenty.

BINGO guys I know Colon is obviously going to eat up more innings, but for those people who keep saying don't look at Ponson cause he just had his career year, he's going to be 27 at the beginning of next season he's still a very young pitcher, and look at his numbers they keep getting better and better each year, maybe he's learned how to pitch a little bit, cause he's always had the stuff.

Sorry to burst the bubble on Pierre, but I'm pretty sure that he isn't a fa, but I've also heard that the Marlins might try to get rid of him for an outfield power bat, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I agree with you chisoxfn, to me the two most important fa's this team needs to sign are bart and flash, no matter what happens, with a new manager the sox will be competitive, I know im in the minority but i want to see frank gone, i also would like to see pauly get traded, and I wouldn't mind maggs getting traded if we got something good in return, what i want to see in the offseason is bartolo resigned, flash resigned, a new good manager, and some speed added to the offense. Whatever happens in the offseason, it's going to be hard to put a more inconsistent and worse offense out there, then what they did statistically this year.

I completely agree, I'm tired of having a clump of homerun hitters throughout the whole lineup, hopefully kw will get rid of some of these homerun hitters and get the speed that can win this franchise some baseball games, Luis Castillo would be absolutely amazing, but don't count on it.
