  1. QUOTE (zenryan @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 08:10 PM) I guess it was bound to happen when they played a team with a pulse on the road. I cant stand UF so I feel dirty making excuses for them but its not surprising to see them come out flat after just smoking everyone they play within the SEC. Gotta wonder if the weakness of the SEC will catch up to them after the first round of the NCAAs. That thought has definitely went through my mind. I believe they're a legit national title contender but I also wouldn't be shocked if they get bounced early because of the lack of competition they will have faced in the sec.
  2. Lesnar is going to kill someone with the F5, he's really f***in reckless with it.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 08:50 PM) I still remember him blocking Patrick O Bryant. One of the more amazing things he ever did in a saluki uniform Got called for a bogus foul too. One of the 3 conference games we lost that year. I sadly enough remember everything from that season.
  4. Stolen from Andy Glockner: ft attempts for Wisconsin last week vs OSU: 0. Vs Illinois: 42. That's nuts.
  5. Bracket busters announced today and they're sad. That event was such a great idea that ESPN managed to kill. Too bad.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 07:15 PM) I'm sorry to say I have no idea who that is. I was sure most people wouldn't. He was a guard during the SIU glory years and he was an insane on ball defender. Vicious.
  7. If we're getting in a homer fight, Tony Young was a better on ball defender than both Oladipo and Craft.
  8. Dude was flat out awesome when healthy. Too bad.
  9. I absolutely destroyed my legs on Saturday. Great workout but damn I can barely walk today.
  10. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Feb 3, 2013 -> 02:07 PM) As an alternative to signing Lohse, maybe they should extend Floyd now. Something like 3y/$36M. There is no "alternative" to signing Lohse because Kyle Lohse was never an option and just a horrible idea in general.
  11. Quintana and Santiago are both better than Lohse. No thanks.
  12. Even if RGIII is healthy going forward I think Luck will be the better qb but Griffin was better this season. Well deserved.
  13. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Feb 2, 2013 -> 09:18 AM) I think this might be the most interesting battle of Spring Training. Both are young lefties who are very different in pitching style. Let's assume Danks is healthy and it's one of them for the fifth starter position. who you taking? As much as I like Quintana, I think Santiago a little more. His stuff is better and he has the higher upside. Santiago definitely has the higher upside but imo until Quintana proves he can't get the job done, it's his to lose.
  14. Digger just made a fantastic point: The big 10 as a league is overrated because Illinois was 12 and 1 out of conference and is now 2 and 6 in conference, Minnesota has lost 4 in a row so while we thought the big 10 was the best conference in the country, it clearly has been proven to be overrated. What?
  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 31, 2013 -> 05:12 PM) I was there last year for a bachelor party and for 4 days the only time I didn't have a drink in my hand was when I was asleep. It's booze, food and boobs down there, all in a 4-5 block area. Nearly heaven, in other words. I actually just got a text today asking if I wanted to go to New Orleans in August for my buddy's bachelor party. I may not come back alive.
  16. QUOTE (Tex @ Jan 30, 2013 -> 06:29 PM) Even worse than the Bulls bringing in Rodman. And boy did the Bulls ever regret that one. If arod was capable of producing I'd have no issue with it but I don't think he can anymore.
