  1. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 10:00 PM) Punk vs Cena the 1st time at Money in The Bank two years ago was a big botch fest that people, including me, were willing to ignore because of magnitude of the match as well as the atmosphere and he was something fresh. That match wasn't clean at all, and not even half of that was due to Cena. He botched(not only in that match) the GTS several times on Cena. He's also botched against Ziggler: Either way, the whole "eff the system" thing is old IMHO. One of the "botched" gts' was on purpose. Either way that match was still fantastic because of both Punk and Cena. Oh wells, no need to argue about it, you're obviously entitled to your opinion.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 10:13 PM) Heyman was incredible on Raw Absolutely fantastic. Punk was real good too. I also can not get over how bad the rock is right now. Cena is going to own him again.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 09:09 AM) Heyman to get performance review by Vince tonight. Brock shows, attacks Vince, hhh runs out. Just a guess. Ya I can see that. And Kyyle I'd be thrilled if you were right about this Heyman stable vs everyone type deal but I doubt it. Brock-hhh 2 seems to be almost a lock unfortunately. As far as Ziggler, I don't think they have any idea what to do with him at this point.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 08:42 AM) Remember, there is a PPV between now and Mania, so a lot can change. I still think Lesnar will enter the picture I'd be shocked if we don't get Rock-Cena 2 and Triple H-Lesnar 2. And I have no interest in either of those. Hopefully they switch that up but I highly doubt they do. Mania shouldn't be a place for rematches imo(though it does happen quite often).
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 06:26 AM) WWE isnt wrestling. WWE is sports entertainment. The Rock hasnt been fully in WWE for what, 12 years now? And he comes back and commands the spotlight still, that is awesome. It will be interesting to see what this year brings for him, he has movies to promote and now has the strap. Which is all fine and dandy. I was a huge Rock fan growing up and I have no issue with him having the belt but I do have an issue with the two headliners of Wrestlemania being rematches, that's f'n ridiculous imo. Whatever, I'll enjoy Punk-Taker and whatever Bryan, Ziggler and Bryan do and pretty much not care about the rest of the card. But as I said before, no matter how much I complain I'll still be watching, so I'm the idiot.
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 08:13 AM) <!--quoteo(post=2755631:date=Jan 28, 2013 -> 07:16 AM:name=KyYlE23)-->QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 07:16 AM) <!--quotec-->I remember when SIU vs Creighton used to be an exciting matchup. Those were the days Sniff sniff... I was at gameday and the game that night. What a blast.
  7. QUOTE (Carter224 @ Jan 27, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) I agree, however, in the big picture Rock/Cena 2 for the Title at Wrestlemania is the optimal main event and there is really no argument against that. Sadly, this means Cena will be champ again in 70 days.. that is what is so so boring Rock-Brock would probably be bigger though that does nothing for the current state of the wwe. I just think it's absurd to have a year build up of "once in a lifetime" and then come back and have the same match next year. I don't hate Cena as much as most people but I literally have 0 interest in Rock-Cena 2. That being said, I'm still going to order Mania so wwe doesn't give a f***. Edit: and for the record tonight was actually a very good show, the results are just annoying.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 27, 2013 -> 12:01 PM) Glad the Royal Rumble is tonight so I don't have to be tempted to turn on Creighton vs. SIU Royal rumble big screen and SIU-Creighton on one of the smaller TVs! Duh!!
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 06:31 PM) Rowand and I would be the first two picks, I assume. I scored 20 Pts earlier this yr in an intramural game, that has to count for something right?
  10. I'm gonna win this thread
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 02:58 PM) Their leading scorer has 2 points with three minutes left in the game. And they just scored 9 "quick" points. Too bad.
  12. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) In the second half, Northern Illinois is on pace to score 19 points for the game. Damn you!
  13. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 11:48 AM) The day the Sox stop wearing black and silver is the day I stop being a white sox fan. Seriously, why are a lot of people unappreciative of the iconic uniforms the sox wear right now? Why do people want the white sox to wear blue??? Hell, it was nauseating last season when I had to put up with the sox wearing those stupid red uniforms on Sunday home games. It really did piss me off, because Sunday games were games I was able to watch on tv during my hectic schedule, and I get confronted with them wearing stupid red uniforms that the Red Sox should be wearing. You'd stop being a Sox fan because of their uniforms? That's...interesting.
  14. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 11:27 AM) Hooray! An article about a player's weight! Spring training must be approaching Ha exactly. Pretty soon Chris is going to look like Bartolo Colon!
  15. Does that mean he's going to be Jesus again?
  16. There's obviously been a lot of good tweets abou teo since this whole ordeal got started but I just heard this one and it made me laugh..."how low do you think Teo's awareness rating will be in Madden?"
  17. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 03:01 PM) Depends on how fast or slow I decide to go. I can probably compact that down to 15 minutes, if necessary. Usually, I go for about 30-40 minutes, and maybe 10-20 minutes of cardio work. My workouts are never more than an hour, but always target only 1 bodypart per day...that way I can maximize the lesser amount of time I want to spend in the gym. More than one bodypart at that kind of time would be inadequate, but targeting just one gives me an awesome targeted workout. I've condensed my workouts down to about 40 minutes by adding super sets and drop sets. Higher intensity, less time in the gym. Perfect.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 09:53 AM) That's just asinine. So is comparing Melo and Pippen given they are such completely different players. Ya, there can't be 2 guys that have played the same position that could be more polar opposites than Carmelo and Scottie are/were.
  19. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 09:49 AM) completely disagree. HIIT is much more effective than running on an elliptical. Yes because it's higher intensity which means you're burning more calories. Doesn't mean that using an elliptical will lose effectiveness the more you use it. No matter how many times you use one, burning 300 calories is burning 300 calories.
  20. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 09:31 AM) Cardio is cardio guys. If it's elevating your heart rate, it doesn't matter if it's repetitive, that means it's working, it's burning calories...and that's all it's intended to do. You may become more used to the motion, and be capable of doing it faster or longer, but it's still working. Yeup. The whole calories in/calories out thing. Burning calories is burning calories whether it's a repetitive motion or not.
