QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 02:57 PM) My wife bases a lot of her tastes on textures. She doesn't like beans because they are too gritty. She doesn't like yogurt with fruit in it because it's too slimy. She can't stand soggy cereal. I don't really care about the texture as long as it tastes OK. I'm with ya. I actually love soggy cereal for some reason.
  2. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 12:22 PM) That doesn't answer my question. There is a very good chance that 5 teams will be 9-9 after this weekend, with Indiana State sitting in 8th place at 8-10. Head to head comparisons can't work in a 5-way tie. 1. Round robin head to head. 2. Non conference strength of schedule.
  3. Before my house went boom sticks I was in the best shape of my life. Lifting more than I've ever lifted and down to my lowest weight ever. Unfortunately I've had to eat like s*** the last 6 days and now I feel like crap. Back at it today, excited!

I actually love cold pizza for thin crust, deep dish I just toss in the microwave.
  5. Amazing how good Miss St is when they decide to play, that team is loaded with talent.
  6. Do yourself a favor and watch the video Punk posted on Twitter today. f***in awesome And I couldn't watch it but heard Punk-bryan tonight was once again fantastic.
  7. Ugh no BTN at hotel. Cmon cats! This game got even bigger cause it's been a great night for bubble teams so far.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 05:46 PM) I really disagree with the idea that the upside is higher. That's the one thing I can't see. Last year's team had a huge upside. This year, we've subtracted an MVP caliber OF, a near all star reliever, and a guaranteed 10 win, 200 inning pitcher. The fact that part of the "Upside" goes into replacing the upside of those guys means that at very best, last year's team had a higher ceiling. Sale has a higher ceiling than Mark, I'm not really sure if last years CQ had a higher ceiling than this years Viciedo but we'll say he did and you can make a legit argument for Reed or Santos. So an argument can definitely be made that this years team has a higher overal ceiling than lasts.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 03:56 AM) Great promo last night. Old school type stuff. Felt real. #TeamFilmIt Agreed. Not sure if you've follow them on Twitter but it's been like the final battle in 8 mile because the Rock has been saying the exact same stuff for a while now, Cena has just been beating him to the punch and the Rock hasn't come up with anything original for a little while now.
  10. And as much as I hate to say it....The Rock has been awful and Cena has been pretty solid here the last couple of weeks.
  11. HHH-Taker doesn't even make sense from the wwe booking side of things. You already got your headliner match and main stream appeal, so f***in odd.
  12. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 09:22 PM) I've watched every video on youtube on how to tie a tie and have put in hours of practice and really just can't seem to get it just right. It's pretty sad that I go over to my parents house before job interviews and weddings to have my dad tie it for me. One of these days it will click I'm sure. Haha everything you said here pertains to me as well. When I was in Carbondale I had my roomate tie it for me and back here I've had my dad do it, which was fine when I didn't have to wear one often, now I have to learn but as you said I just can't get it right. It's very sad.
  13. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 08:38 PM) 1. Agreed. 2. Tough. 3. You are not a man. It is legitimately pathetic how much trouble I have trying to tie a tie. I have to wear one everyday to work now and struggle monster.
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 01:44 PM) finally slept for an hour. The 3 most difficult things in life: 1. Sleeping 2. Putting a Taco Bell lid on the cup 3. Tying a tie
  15. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 19, 2012 -> 10:00 PM) Holy OKC box score I came in this thread to say the exact same thing. Two guys combined for 91 points and then a triple double with 11 blocks? Linsanity.
  16. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 19, 2012 -> 05:06 PM) I think Gregg Marshall is a fantastic coach. The last Valley coach I was really a fan of was his predecessor, Turgeon. Ya there has been plenty of Valley coaches that have succeeded in the big 6 like Turgeon, Painter, Altman has done a very good job at Oregon so far, just ironic how McDermott and Bruce are failing/have failed at two schools that have a fan base on this site.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 19, 2012 -> 12:09 PM) Why couldn't they give that spot to a returning Christian? Santino in the match isn't awful because its new but come on. Are you going?
  18. Once again, really appreciated everyone. I'm not the emotional or talk about it type so that's why I like to be able to vent on here to at least get it out of my system. Anyways, I have some really awesome friends that actually took up a collection for me and 10 of my high school friends gave me 500 bucks to buy clothes and what not. I'm actually very excited to get back to work and get back to working out and just get back to my life tomorrow. Thanks again, guys!
  19. After the Webber and McDermott failures I've learned not to talk up Valley coaches but Marshall has definitely done a fantastic job at Wichita and Winthrop.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 04:35 PM) Also keep in mind that there was no 3-second rule in Jordan's day. Bigs could just camp out in the paint all game (especially against teams without a good scoring center) and go for blocks. This is actually a fantastic argument.
  21. Man, there are some insane arguments in this thread. There is more to athleticism then just jumping but Jordan has the highest vertical officially recorded for a NBA player at 48 inches, 4 f***in feet people, id say he'd be athletically superior to todays NBA as well. Oh and Drexler's vetical..44 in, Wade's...36. Point J4L.
  22. Hahaha fantastic j4l, love it. And ill take you up on that at some point, just gotta deal with s*** this weekend.
  23. Well it's appreciated guys. I'm obviously not happy and sad about my cats especially because of how they died. but I can deal with it decently enough. Just worried about my mom, those cats were her life and she obviously just lost her house and she's not handling it too well.
  24. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 16, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) Do you have a place to stay? Place started on fire at 3, insurance got us into a hotel 15 minutes ago. Ill probably just stay here tonight cause my mom is a wreck and I don't want to leave her by herself then ill go stay with friends after tonight most likely.
