QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Nov 15, 2006 -> 02:03 PM) What about the Marquette trio? And Lazar Hayward? Dom is an 83, Mcneal is an 81 and Matthews is a 77. And Hayward is a 70. Dom is one of the better rated pg's in the whole game. The ratings overall are pretty low as the best players in the game are only 92's(Noah, Big Baby and Fazekas). QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Nov 15, 2006 -> 02:07 PM) Hey man, can I get some ratings for Al Thorton (12), Toney Douglas (23), Jason Rich (25), and Isiah Swann (3)? Thorton is an 84, Douglas is an 80, Rich is a 72 and Swann is a 77.

QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 15, 2006 -> 01:54 PM) this will pretty much be my thanksgiving break. I'm pumped. Am I going to have to kick your ass in this game as well? PS Young and Tatum are rated better than every Illini player in the game.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Nov 15, 2006 -> 02:05 AM) Well I think the Rangers hitting coach had a much larger effect on him than Michael Young and the Cubs have a pretty generous hitting park as well. And if he can remain his mechanics from last season he should be fine. I disagree with this big time. Derosa basically mimicked every move of Young's at the plate, Michael had a huge effect on hm.

Bumpity bump. Game comes out on Monday and I will be getting it on Monday. I honestly can not wait as I absolutely love this franchise. I actually just downloaded all the player rankings so if anyone wants to know any just ask. This is the link I got 'em from http://2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98101 . Problem is that you have to be registered with the other forum to download. Anyone else excited for this game or am I the only one ?

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) Well they covered the 10, so I'm happy Sad part?? Part of why I told you this game would not be won, no way, by UNI, is I figured the best UNI could do is keep it really close, then see the refs do that to them late. Not a surprise to me at all. Well UNI played like crap for a while in the 2nd half as well, the refs helped but UNI seemingly forgot how to catch a rebound. UNI is going to have a solid season but Washington is just lucky that they didn't play one of the top 4 valley teams.

LOL, the last 5 minutes of this game was just horribly officiated, yeesh. Good effort Panthers, couldn't beat the Huskies and the refs.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 11:28 PM) Welcome to NCAA Basketball, pre March. They do all they can to help the big dawgs (haha, get it? :|) from November through February, then in March, help out the mid majors at all costs. I love it. It's just ridiculous. It's been a very physical game all day long and all the sudden they just start calling touch fouls which makes UNI lose one of their best players. Washington is going to win this game because of it. Kind of sucks but oh well.

The refs are seriously taking this game out of UNI's hands. Calling a lot of touch fouls on UNI which got Washington in the bonus with like 9 minutes to go. Now they call a touch foul on Coleman that gets him fouled out of the game. Wow. UNI can't move at the moment.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 10:44 PM) Speaking of that, Butler does begin with a B. I think were onto something here. Bucknell Bison, Bradley Braves, Butler Bulldogs. Perfect.

My wishlist is going to include: a Bmac/Anderson jersey, a Phillip Rivers powder blue jersey and money. I have no clue what I'm getting anyone else yet, I'll buy those gifts in late December some time.

Mark DeRosa
I'm interested to see how he does with out Michael Young now, as he seemed to have imitated every move Young made at the plate.

When will the Yankees come calling?
QUOTE(fathom @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 02:48 PM) I disagree about the couldn't have played worse part. We had an amazing year from Jermaine Dye, had about as good of health as a team can have for an entire season, and the American League is getting stronger with each passing day. If we stick with the team we had last year, we're just as likely to finish 4th in the division as we are first. So Dye had a fantastic year, he's really the only player on the team that regression cant be expected out of and it shouldn't be that much. Everyone single one of our starters underachieved and we got absolutely no production out of our leadoff hitter. For the talent we had, we really couldn't have played much worse.

Mets looking to deal Milledge/Heilman?
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 12:57 AM) Pitching is what wins in this game. Its the formula that keeps on getitng teams to the postseason and to the world series. Why do we think that Boston just paid eleventy billion dollars just to pay a Japanese pitcher a kings ransom. Pitching is at a premium. If we can spin Vaz or Garcia off and get someone like Pelfrey to mix up with Bmac it will help our team more in the long run than having a guy who will become a lift and pull powerhitter the minute he comes here. Like I said before, I dont and wouldn't want to trade Mac or Pelfrey for anything if we did indeed get Mike. I'm just saying Carl is a different player then we have/had, that's why people want him. That's all.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 12:55 AM) I think you guys are over-rating Chris Paul a bit. He is really good... but I wouldnt go out and say that Deron Williams has no chance to be as good if maybe not better. Chris Paul is honestly stud, I highly doubt Deron is ever going to be as good as him. This coming from a guy who hates Paul(stemming from his college days).
