  1. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 07:19 PM) Jenks the MVP of the team? I don't think so Hawk. You can definitely make an argument for Bobby, along with about 4 others.
  2. Javy's using his slider now with 2 strikes. He has to do that, just ditch the curve with 2 strikes, cause he always hangs it.
  3. lol dj. Nice to see Javy pitch over a leadoff walk.
  4. Javy's patented hanging curve with 2 strikes.
  5. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 06:18 PM) Why isn't this game on ESPN? Are you getting blacked out for some dumb reason? Cause espn loves to do that. They blacked out every Sox game on espn when I was at school, really pissed me off. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 06:18 PM) i\'m watching mlb gameday and they placed the circle close to the fence, how close was granderson\'s fly ball to out? Just shy of the warning track.
  6. Mack in center tonight is one of the worst moves ozzie has made this year. I'm really not happy about that.
  7. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) or at least that's what we'll tell them He'd be pretty close to dominate. He has sure dominated the national league this season.
  8. Mack in the lineup tonight. That could really prove costly.
  9. QUOTE(SadChiSoxFanOptimist @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) This guy a lefty? Yes.
  10. Good news: The Red Sox are stuck with Josh Beckett for 3 more years.
  11. Yankees lost today, so our WC lead is now up to 3 games.
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 02:36 PM) Hopefully Ozzie resists the need to put Mack in center. We need Brian out in centerfield. Especially in this park it becomes extra crucial.
  13. Woke up, checked soxtalk, about to go back to sleep soon, I will get up and watch the Sox game. Tough day.
  14. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 01:46 PM) During his interview, the columnist also criticized the Chicago Tribune's media writer for not calling him or his editor before writing articles about the issue. BAHAHAHAHAHA, are you f'n joking me???? Wow.
  15. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 01:32 PM) Did anyone think Crawford might be available before now? Besides, KW has been decidedly silent about alot of things he likes since the blown Omar Vizquel deal... Did you see Thome coming? I don't think he had to worry so much about keeping Mack and Cintron on the down low.... Crawford's name has been brought up for a while now, so yes, some people have thought that he's been available. We still don't actually know if TB is shopping him or not. As far as Thome, he was one of the hottest rumors last offseason, I don't think it was really a shock to anyone to see Jim get traded here. Aaron for Jim was talked about a ton.
  16. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 12:27 PM) Carter definately. The Sox--and Carter for that matter--need to see that he can hit non-rookie ball pitching. He should be moved up within a week or two if he continues hit. Lummy will remain in AA for the year, most likely, but I can see Lance getting a couple starts with Charlotte. Whisler could move up as well, but in the Barons rotation there is no room. But, if Lance gets promoted, Wes would likely take his place. Agreed with what you said. I do think Lance will stay in bham for the rest of the year though. Unfortunately for Wes, there really is no room at all in Birmingham.
