  1. The Big Chip, I believe.......
  2. The final totals for Sosa against the Barons are: 2-7 1 2B 1 RBI 1 BB 3 K
  3. Baj doesn't throw mid-90's........ 89-91 is more accurate...... I've seen him get it up to 93 before, but rarely.
  4. that's what I am here for Yas........ LD

My money is on yes......... just like Reed was last year.
  7. he's hurt ;-)
  8. The Southern League also has the same deal. You may be able to pick it up in some areas on Comcast. It is a cable only station called CSS. Southern League games begin either this Saturday or next. The two games featuring the Barons at home are July 3 and August 7. Not sure if they will be televised in any road games.
  9. It's 23 and Winston will be getting an infielder from Birmingham.
  10. That disappoints me... I think Rogowski deserved a shot at AA. Becker is a veteran that is going nowhere. Rogowski is an organizational guy that should still have a chance, especially with the numbers he has been putting up.
  11. I think the gist of the guys point was that he liked Guerrier. Fans like to throw jabs at their rivals, and sometimes they aren't accurate. It was nothing but a fan being a fan and nothing more.
  12. Why do you put so much time into worrying about what one single Twins fan says? It's not like it was posted on this board.
  13. The trade was a good one for the Sox. Matt Guerrier very well may help the Twins this year which could hurt the Sox, but that's the way trades work. You give up something to get something. The Sox got a more immediate return and Guerrier was not one of their top pitching prospects because he doesn't throw very hard. Matt is a great kid and comes from a great family. I wish him a ton of luck.
  14. Problem is....... Frank doesn't play 1B.
  15. He only struck out once..... walked and singled in a run....
  16. Well the CWS field is set...... anyone notice there are 4 SEC teams out of the 8 team field? I'm not sure how they set the pairings...... if they are seeded or what. But I do know that Texas has to be considered one of the favorites. Their dismantling of Vanderbilt was quite impressive. Vandy was hot and had a solid club.

computer problems perhaps? teams have to send in their boxscores, so the problem probably lies there.......

Two nice outings in a row for Beyoung An
  19. Yep, and I am confident he will be solid for them the rest of the season.
  20. Sosa goes 1-2 with a walk and a strikeout. He did not return after the rain delay. Barons lose 2-1, allowing the winning run in the bottom of the 9th.
  21. Sosa singled off the LF wall to drive in the lead run....... D'Jaxx up 1-0..... now going into a rain delay......
  22. Neither........ MJ did some appearances, etc. and the bus line bought the state-of-the-art bus at the time...... took out the back few rows and put in a table so they could play cards....... it had TV's and a VCR, which was pretty new at the time...... and a cool paint job...... that's about it
  23. Don't use it anymore........ its just a bus now........ was the best 10 years ago though
  24. Could Maggs rehab in Birmingham? That would be cool.......
