  1. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:58 AM) Brad Lidge Since you put it that way.
  2. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:56 AM) No! Someone has to play the outfield and 2nd base/SS. Duh. Oh my bad i wasn't thinking. But we still have Jermaine, he can play SS.
  3. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:54 AM) Then we could trade crede for there replacement Then what reliever would we trade for?
  4. QUOTE(go-sox05 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:50 AM) how about we trade rowand, thomas, garland, marte, podsednik, dye, crede for chavez and that closer they got with the bum arm. although chavez may have to play third and pitch in a starter and closer role. Can we throw in Timo to?
  5. I got two words for this story.....That sucks.
  6. I love reading all of these Trade For Eric Chavez threads, but now Zito is involved!
  7. I'm just curious to what you guys think about this. Let's say we did trade for Mueller, and he becomes our everyday thirdbasemen. WHAT DO WE DO WITH CREDE? Would we either trade him or keep him on the bench?
  8. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 11:31 PM) Scantaly clad photos of jurassic, what else? Whos going to buy that?
  9. He was just missing his targets way to often.
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:20 AM) If that happens, Marte goes to the DL. Personally I think the Sox are thinking about DLing Damaso right now anyway. Damaso needs to go on the DL. I was at the game last night and i got to watch him suck it up in person. He would throw one strike, then 3 balls right after. There is something wrong with him, but hopefully it isn't serious.
  11. IMO, that top pic kind of looks like soldier field. That looks like it is going to be one bad ass stadium.
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 11:08 AM) I wasn't expecting him to be easy (although he has had a few starts worthy of Jose Canseco's performance yesterday), but I'm expecting us to have a chance against him. His hot streak was I believe 7 starts in late April and May. Everyone goes through streaks. Let's hope he's starting a bad one. Yeah, just as whitesoxin' said, he is either going to go 8 innings or not do as well. We should have a chance against him, it just matters if he is on or off his game tonight.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 10:23 AM) Vazquez owned us last year before his season fell apart. He owned everyone for like the first half of the season, then he completely crashed and burned. He has had good stretches with Arizona, but he hasn't been so utterly dominant like he was against us in over a year. I don't think he's the same pitcher he was before going to NY. And on top of that...people keep telling me that "Speed doesn't go into slumps", so if this lineup truly has some speed, we should be able to work around a good pitching performance every now and then. Unlike last year, when a good pitching performance would kill us. This season for like 5 or 6 straight starts he didn't allow one walk and struck out about 40 batters. His K:BB ratio is 72:11. His last start wasn't as dominant, so this game shouldn't be easy for the Sox.
  14. Those look great. My favorite is the first one.
  15. He deserves to be promoted. My question is why hasn't he been called up earlier?
  16. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 12:34 PM) I made one if anyone wants to use it. What does the banner look like?
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 02:06 AM) Really our starting pitching depth is really looking huge right now, compared to 2 years ago. Honel's coming back in AA (although he still has a LONG way to go) and so is Corwin Malone, Sean Tracey's had a good year, B-Mac in AAA, Ray Liotta has dominated in Kanny, it's looking good. Don't forget about Gio!
  18. I was going to go yesterday, but i didn't. I am going to today's game though . With my Scotty Pods jersey on.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 08:45 AM) That is Carlos little brother. Is he really his little brother. Its weird because both of their names are Carlos.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) I'll check baseballamerica.com stats every now and then, haven't checked in awhile and noticed Borchard's numbers have seriously jumped in HR's and Avg. Anyone who follows this know if this is a positive trend, ie cutting down on Ks etc... or is it just a hot streak where he's running into a lot of fastballs? He has 71 strikeouts and is batting .230. I don't if he has gotten hot lately or what but here are the rest of his stats. From To G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG AVG 04/07 06/12 57 204 26 47 10 0 10 25 87 21 71 3 2 .305 .426 .230
  21. I don't really understand the name "Mr. T-Ball", but I voted for Shingo anyways.
  22. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 08:37 AM) Yes, but Willie is disliked in the clubhouse, just food for thought. How do you know he is disliked in the clubhouse? I don't mean to sound like a dick, i'm just curious to know how you found this out.
