  1. I think the point is we paid Hendricks a ton of money to be elite, not slightly above average
  2. So many Sox fans, particularly on here, dislike anything and everything, including their own lives.
  3. Any updates on all of your scientific research?
  4. By the worst hitter in major league baseball no less
  5. So you agree that two DUIs don't make it right for him to ever be managing again.
  6. I used this as part of my rationale to save me some money and not give in to yet more Sox merch I don't need
  7. Still can't believe they managed to fuck up the relationship with Chance
  8. Baseball uniforms are no longer wool flannel, greg.
  9. Yup. And they've worn this American Giants uniform before too. I even picked it up from Ebbets Field Flannels. I've liked just about every retro jersey design they've worn throughout the years, from this American Giants to the 1917s, 59s, etc. Heck, I even picked some of the Mitchell & Ness ones up. Makes too much sense to vary it up a little bit from time to time. And I really like the 83s too. Let some of the other unique past uniforms shine also.
  10. I think that's his attempt to spell bourgeoisie
  11. Isn't just the same Old English font as always?
  12. I like it a lot for what it is. Not as something permanent. Still woulda preferred solid black though instead of the powdered donut stains.
  13. No, this should NOT be the new black alternates. Don't give Nike any ideas.
  14. Ok, wait. Upon further review, are those powdered donut stains supposed to represent our love of South Side Polish pastries or something?? Can't wait to hear Nike's convoluted explanation. They couldn't just give us solid black with those nice silverish pinstripes?
  15. After how atrocious the boston one was, I was fully prepared to absolutely hate whatever trash they gave us. But these are BADASS
  16. Gotcha. It's just always sadly funny to me just how much soxtalk leans negative. Wayy more activity when they're losing. Alotta posters prefer being right about how bad they think the players, etc. are than the team actually winning. I don't get it. For me at least, I prefer sports being a fun escape than something that brings my mood down. As I've gotten older, I've gotten a lot better at just turning the TV off and forgetting about it when things go awry. I enjoy being invested in the team, but at the same time, it's not life or death.
