I go with Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. Haven't had any problems. I'm curious to see that rumored Nexus tablet. Also, I'm hoping to get the Galaxy S 3 when I'm eligible next month. Too bad HTC didn't go with a removeable battery. And nothing else really seems to be in the near-future horizon...

QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 10:38 PM) Wait, you don't like the 71-75 throwbacks? I thought everyone did. Makes me want to get a Melton, Allen, or yes, even a Bahnsen jersey. I totally agree with the poster who suggested the powder blue road unis from the same period on away Sundays. I sure don't. Nothin' special, and there's many other jerseys throughout history that I like a lot more. Much cleaner than the wide-collared ones at least...I'll give them that. That particular S shape on the hat has always irked me, though. The powder blue road unis are INFINITELY better looking, and probably one of my favorites lookswise.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 22, 2012 -> 03:09 AM) Michael Jordan is the GOAT. But how close-minded is it to say that there could never be somebody better? That's boring as f***. I'm not saying LeBron will be better. But at his age (he's basically injury-proof), his skill-set, his physical prowess and what he's already accomplished, why the hell not? Outside of just not wanting it to happen? Because he just doesn't have that mindset/mentality. Plain and simple. It's obvious enough. Not doubting he is the most gifted player in the history of the game, though. And this is what he positioned himself for by placing himself in what he perceived as his best (easiest?) chance to win rings. It'll just be interesting what happens next now that their is a very clear, obvious contender in a young oklahoma city team. It'll be fun to see what they take from this and how they bounce back. Since you enjoy Jordan comparisons, who's to say this isn't Durant's "getting beat down by the bad boys pistons" moment that leads to their dynasty rather than the heat? Why the hell not? Get well soon Pooh -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 04:53 PM) I know Iverson won the MVP (should've been Shaq). But I never thought he was a top 5 player. He was one of the more inefficient "superstars" ever. I mean Bill Russell type inefficiency. I'd love to see your list of 5 players or more that were better than him that year... -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 11:18 PM) Zzzzzz. I'm not going to get into some worthless argument over something that occurred 13 years ago. MJ's left-hand clearly met Russell's butt as the cross-over was taking place. Yes, you're not going to call that (though I'm sure Jazz fans wanted it called) in that situation. Point being, superstars got calls back then just as they do now. The only difference now is that you have the internet, facebook, twitter, a never-ending sports cycle (espn), etc, that totally dwarfs anything that was going on in the 90's. Magic Johnson once joked as he, Michael and Bird were posing for a photo together during the Dream Team run that he didn't want to get too close to Michael out of fear of being called for a foul. If Michael were playing today, every fanbase in the world (sans Chicago) would be complaining of special treatment, just as they do with LeBron, Wade and Kobe. Rewatch some games. Point being, much less crying and complaining back then. -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 05:18 PM) lol. 13 years later and Bulls fans still can't admit that MJ used his off hand to separate from Russell? It was hardly malicious. But it was there. Reggie pushed MJ to get free for his game-winner in the previous series. Superstars have, and always will, continue to get superstar calls. That's why I don't cry like a girl over calls that LeBron, Wade, Kobe, etc, get. Reggies was much more of a clear push off... russell got crossed over. His momentum cleared him out, not Jordans off hand. No ref in there right mind even thinks about calling that. Games were called differently 15 years ago. And there was MUCH LESS whining and complaining. It has really stood out as I rewatch the games with my lil brother. I vote for a screen name change... -

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 07:24 AM) Man... Kevin Durant has a chance to win a ring at 23. Half their roster is 25 and younger. They went through 3 teams that Popovich put it best.. won 10 out of the last 13 NBA championships (has a chance to be 11 whoever wins the BOS/MIA series). We'll see what happens when certain guys get paid and good/awful trades, but they have a great chance to be a dynasty if all goes well. (certainly will be a top 3 team in the West for years, barring injury) Not 2...not 3...not 4...not 5... And Jordan's arm barely grazing russell has now become a shove lol -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 29, 2012 -> 10:50 PM) Thing is the Spurs are kinda beating the Thunder at their own game. The Thunder usually can overwhelm you with their athleticism, speed, etc. The Spurs have all that and are deeper. If the Spurs win game 3 a sweep, IMO, is imminent. No, not at all actually. They're just obviously playing a much smarter game. Their ball movement, cutting, passing, picks, etc...it's the most precise, efficient offense I have ever seen. That's what's happening...it's like a culmination of all of their experience together under the genius of popovich culminating into this amazing run where everyone's potential is maximized, every cog fitting perfectly into this machine, and pure, intelligent, team basketball trumping athleticism and talent. They're older and slower and much less athletic yet they're so much more poised, mature, savvy, and efficient that they're making it look easy against an extremely talented, younger team. And Manu > harden I just hope Thibs isn't too stubborn and is taking notes on POP's offense. Noah is as capable as Duncan making those passes on cuts for easy baskets time and time again... -

Nah, okc will get 1 or 2 I think. I will say that I'm glad that the spurs are ridiculous this year and okc is still so young and only gonna get even more scary good so that the heat can be denied championships for years to come... I was kidding about the officiating... -

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 24, 2012 -> 12:24 AM) Maybe he was worried about which response would net him the best light in the view of the public. Does he make sure to pick a favorite with a squeeky clean past? (No Ozzie). Does he pick a white player, a black player, latino? Does he say he loved the underdog, or does he pick the fan favorite? Unfortunately, sometimes these things actually come across people's minds. I was thinking that too. Also, it's such a kiddie question. I'd be caught off guard a little too. Not something I think about regularly, and I'm not quite sure if I necessarily have a "favorite player" at the moment. He goes out of his way to show his support for the Sox, and that's more than enough for me. It would be lame if he was a regular ol' soxtalk geek anyways. He's got better, more important things to do...
