QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:40 PM) Kenny said he's getting them prepared every day. He really did. Prepared to swing at crap and not be able to ever score runs from 2nd and 3rd.

QUOTE (shipps @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:32 PM) Yes, this has turned out to be true. Its really difficult to argue against management going for it though. As a fan I will probably ALWAYS be on board in going for it. Who could have possibly seen that all of our bats would completely take a collective nosedive all at the same time. Not even Zips saw it that way.

How Severson hasnt been fired yet is crazy. Worst offense in baseball. No approach whatsoever.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:12 PM) Well, he is legitimately the worst offensive starter in baseball this year. And the Sox are last in defense.
-
Alexei has already cost the Sox more than one run today. I f***ing hate this version of him
-
Alexei really is a s***ty baseball player. I wouldnt mind seeing him in another uniform very soon.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:01 PM) Just saw that 1-2 pitch to Rios....holy hanger Its like it floated there for a second. Its been like that all day.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:57 PM) According to gameday, seems like very few splitters from Samardzija They are just floating sideways instead of down, probably the reason its not recognizing it. I wonder if the humidity is hampering that pitch a bit. Jeff's stuff has been crap today.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:56 PM) That ball was still hammered. Rios never looks like he hits the ball as hard as he does since his bat isn't very quick, but he hammered that. Full extension, right where he likes it. It was a pop up and carried, watch the side replay.

The ball is flying out of the park

Oh Abreu, so close.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 11:05 AM) My Bosch dries really well. Thing I love about Bosch is their anti leak technology, how quiet it runs (although really...it isn't like a dishwasher is a jackhammer so its kind of a moot point), and how well they clean (my dishes were cleaner with my Bosch then any other dishwasher I've ever used. Than again, maybe it is just the newer technology vs. using older diswasher's previously. You certainly get what you pay for in dishwashers. The different between my old GE and my Kenmore Elite is ridiculous. Quiet, efficient and works like a charm. SAme with my fridge.

Wait, so Kelly-Rae is single? Nice.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 16, 2015 -> 03:58 PM) I prefer SWA when I fly for sure. I know it is a love/hate airline, but I love them. I love them too, go over 120k miles every year with SWA and the status helps as well. However there is one airline in the midwest I will dabble with, Sun Country. Cant beat upgrading to first class for 25 bucks and they have Surly beer.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 16, 2015 -> 02:27 PM) This. I had to fly to Columbus before. That one sucked. I could have been there driving in the time that it took me to drive to ORD, add the extra time for security, and the flight. SWA all the way to Cbus. Lots of flight times/options.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 16, 2015 -> 01:20 PM) His cap hit is only like $2 million, Florida is paying half his contract as part of the trade. 2.2
-
Depending how tall you are, over 5'10" you dont fit. You pay to pick your seat, you pay to use the overhead bin, you pay to pack anything on the plane. Then you get to sit in mini seats with half an armrest. Its f***ing horrible.

They have 231k to spend. So, not likely

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2015 -> 09:44 AM) Johnson looks great for blowing a major on a three putt. Speith is also right there. Would be crazy if he won 3 majors in a row. Tiger...yikes. Dude needs to retire already. Tiger's swing is so bad its hard to watch. His head dips and he just chops at the ball.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jul 13, 2015 -> 11:53 AM) I actually thought it was good. I was very disappointed in the show going in to last night but last night finally felt like it was going somewhere. I think at time the dialogue is trying way too hard but I dig the plot at the moment. Its entertaining.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 15, 2015 -> 11:41 AM) Ducks sign Kesler to a 6-year extension, $6.875 AAV. As much as I wanted to trade for him last year, I want nothing to do with that deal. Yeah, no thanks. All three of their highest paid players are going to be fading fast near the end of those deals.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 15, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) Your house was most likely remodeled since its that old, you probably have drywall. Nope, plaster abounds. Historic district, old part of house can rarely be touched.
-
QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 15, 2015 -> 11:20 AM) Do you live in an older house? Some of those older houses were built with mesh net walls that were plastered, these interfere with wireless signals. The only thing I can think of is his house is full of metal/pipes/mesh netting and it's interfering with his signal. Either that, of he's using a router that just isn't very powerful. My house is 1883 and it flows fine. I am thinking maybe the router is behind copper pipes or something.
-
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jul 14, 2015 -> 08:42 PM) I swear, you'd think my house was coated with lead-paint. My Chromecast about 40 feet away from the router can't get a signal. Looks like I am going to have to hook up our booster again and take slower speeds to get full coverage in the house. Ugh. I hate to bottleneck this thing, but it seems I have no choice. My next investment may be in a Powerline Adapter for my PS4. They run about $40 on Amazon. What type of router do you have? That seems pretty terrible.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jul 14, 2015 -> 03:55 PM) My company today publically announced a security breach, luckily it was not anywhere close to Target bad (no social security or credit card data was breached). There was a ton of stress/work around this, I would hate to be in a large scale breach like we've been seeing. Never a good thing but thats why people increasingly are securing external access with more and more layers. usually its an inside job though.
